Hey man - great vids! I love your car. I actually own a 2020 A5 with the same wheels and paintjob. Not as well speced as urs though :) Did you know these two things: 1. You can shift from D to R or the other way instantly by holding the button on the stick and pulling upwards or downwards respectively - not stepping. 2. In an earlier vid you mentioned that you cannot close the trunk with the keyfob, but i think you can by holding the trunk button down. Works for me if im nearby the car. keep it up - and please make a vid about your radar detector! ty :D

Thanks for the video. I have the OBD11, just waiting on the car. Under taillights animation you can switch it to RS5 style. Is there an option to change the headlights to RS style animation? Can you unlock additional RS5 cockpit layouts/infotainment displays such as power and torque options and the tire pressure for all tires in the virtual cockpit? Thanks again for all these videos. Scandinavian DRL seem pretty cool option as well. Waiting on the car now.

Nice congrats! is there an option to change the headlights to RS style animation? Unfortunately not however, you may be able to change if you long code(I don't recommend this). Can you unlock additional RS5 cockpit layouts/infotainment? power and torque options you can unlock but it will not show any values becase physical hardware is required that's only installed in the RS models(I've tried it). Same for the tire pressure. Hope this helps! and you're gonna love the car!

Great video I havent done any real drone footage with mine as of yet need to get on that. Does your S5 have the feature of lifting the tail using your feet? I have 2023 S5 premium plus. But on the A5 that feature is available

I think the voice command only works for things operated by the touchscreen, no? Because you have physical climate controls, it may be outside of its intended abilities. Same with heated seats. But if you did ambient lighting it should work. Just a thought.🤷🏼‍♂️

Cool video. Thank you. One question though - is there a setting for enabling speed limit to show up in HUD? I have a 23 S4 but my HUD doesn't show a speed limit. Might be a region thing as well since I'm in Australia but let me know. Cheers

Hmm I do not believe there is a setting however, unless it recognizes a speed limit sign it will not show up in the HUD based on my experience. Thanks for watching!

Are you able to change the A/S Prestige DRL animation to the RS-style animation using OBDEleven?

Did you recently get a new “app” on your MMI? I started my 2023 S5 yesterday and I noticed a new icon called “Themes” was installed on the Home Screen. I can’t get it to do anything though! it’s supposed to allow us to add more ambient lighting and choose “themes” on the MMI. Looking forward to seeing the OBD11 video!

So I just checked and I did not see any new app. Did you get your car in or after June by any chance? I heard those models were receiving a few new updates like remote start and an app store.

hey man great video. i have the same S5 package as you and i’m loving it. only thing i hate right now is the crazy amount of brake dust on the wheels and calipers, any advice on how to deal with this?

Nice congrats!! and yeah the break dust is insane! I do not have any advice on that at the moment however, any from someone would be appreciated!

The brake dust is normal with performance brake pads. I recommend taking the wheels off and clean them good and add high heat ceramic coating. I used C5 GTechnic Wheel Armour on my new wheels. When I wash my car the dust comes right off with little to no agitation. I should put some on my calipers too

Definitely ceramic coat. I’m planning on doing mine soon. Have the exact same spec as this too. Break dust is brutal but that ceramic won’t let it stick as hard plus it’ll protect.

Yeah, I seen cars with those tires. Crazy how much of a difference it can make. Im sure your car still looks great though! The S5 is a stunning car regardless in my opinion.

I was able to purchase mine off the lot so I did not have to wait. However, I did have it shipped 1 state over which took 2 days. Sorry I can't provide info on any order times but you will get yours before you know it!
