Got to ride some grueling Western PA trails with some friends over the past weekend. Most of this I havent seen before. The Beta felt great on this stuff. Lots of off camber, tree hoping, vertical up and down variations, creeks etc...its the perfect weapon for me in this kind of riding.

I just looked at the 23 xtrainer yesterday I didn’t know it has a larger tank than my 21 that is a definite plus, I changed my seat because of injuries I can’t stand as much as I’d like and of course the awful headlight 😎 but this video shoes just how capable this [entry level] 😂 machine is Thanks for taking us along 👍

Thanks for watching as always Dave! My “beginners bike” 😂 was able to do all of that with a pretty dead rear tire too. If it was fresh or tubliss, it would have been even better. I like this bike more with every ride!

That may be the best Xtrainer video I’ve seen.

These 300 Xtrainer videos are excellent. I can listen to hours of a 300 2 stroke lugging through the woods. But, I’d also love to hear some of your commentary about the bike, once in a while as you ride. I’m in the fence about this bike because I’m 6’0” tall. But it’ll probably be best for my riding and speed/skill.

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. Trying to get better at talking more while riding lol. I think your best bet would be to find a Beta demo day near you. You can see their schedule on the Beta USA website. You’ll be able to ride the 300rr and XTrainer back to back. At 6’ you may not like the softer suspension but if you aren’t riding high speed stuff it probably won’t matter. Im 5’8” on a good day and weigh about 185lbs so this bike fits me well and the trails I ride. I might have another XTrainer video out soon again but not much talking going on in that one either. If you have questions feel free to ask me!

@@Garage2Trail Your right a Beta demo would be wonderful. Except there are none left within 4 hours drive for me(N. Texas). I very much appreciate the info. I've had a 300XC and 250xcw in the last 3 years. They were great but just too much. Last bike was a 200RR, which was great. But then we quit riding for about 1.5 years, now missing it horribly so we're(son & I) getting back in. I'm 53 yo and need to keep wheels on the ground and keep speeds down. (been hurt too many times) Kinda why I'm thinking 300 Xtrainer.

@Garrettactical it may be the right bike for you then. Super manageable power delivery in stock form with 300cc 2stroke power when you hit a big hill. Mine is still bone stock and I’ve had it a year now with no intentions of turning it into a 300RR. If you decide to do so it’s easy…rejet the carb and put a fatty pipe on it and still keep the plush suspension.

You still run the OI system?

Yup, I made sure to use dielectric grease on all the plugs. Never had a problem. Roughly 75hrs as of now.

just got a 2024 xtrainer 300, just wandering what u did for stock suspension set up, filter cage very restricted, did u change filter cage and lastly any basic set up tips u can share. i would like to keep the bike stock as much as possible. i think we r about the same weight and do pretty much the same type of riding. like u videos.

Hi Andy, all I did was slow the rebound down on the forks because it was deflecting real bad when I first got it. I haven’t even set the sag yet and it just feels right so I left it alone. I didn’t mess with the airbox at all so mine is bone stock. I have another video from a few months ago showing all the stuff I did before my first ride. Basically preventative stuff. I highly recommend to use dielectric grease on all the connectors. Especially the one for the oil injection and main harness plug. A lot of dealers are not checking the plugs and over time of there isn’t enough grease those connections corrode and your oil injection can fail. Keep the plugs greased up and you’ll be fine! You are gonna love that bike.

thanks for the input. i did set the rear sag, rear feels good. have not touched the front, absolutely no deflection feels pretty good. yes, i did the complete greasing, and tidy up the wiring mess.
