In this video We dig into what my bible study plan was for 2023, and what I liked and didn’t like.
I review the 5-day study plan I used; and discuss the Illustrated bibles pros & cons as I perceive them.

I’m keeping up with the chronological Bible reading plan with my audio Bible. I make sure to listen to that in the morning. But for the deep dive, I. Going thru the chronological reading plan bit at my own pace. I’m not sure How long it will take me but the insight I’m getting makes it so worth it 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

That’s so true!! I think we need to give ourselves that grace to just take as long as needed to really dive into scriptures. God sees our hearts and he will guide his words to us how he wants them to unfold 🧡🌻🙏🏼 thanks for sharing!! ☺️

2023 I also did the 5 day plan and I used hobonichi for some reading notes. 2024 I loved the chronological read and I may do the same again. Reading is just reading but I do more indepth study too. Mostly go where I am lead. That has a notebook that accompanies it. I put prayers in there. I also have a prayer bible and keep a Travelers notebook insert in the back where I list prayers. It never occurred to me to use hobonichi as a prayer journal. Can't wait to see your prayer and misc set ups!

Thank you so much for sharing! It was very helpful and inspiring for me. You're the same kind of studier I am, and I've been trying to find a plan or study that I really want to deep dive into in my new Bible. I also share the same thought about wanting it all in one Bible . I am going to try the daily grace co redemption story as well the behold, and it's been a journey to finding them cause I wanted something that was more than just a list of scriptures per day and had a lot of depth and questions. After lots of fussing I decided to go with these but I'm not exactly sure it's what I'll stick with. Would you perhaps do an updated video on your study process from reading, studying, notes . It's so hard to find other people's methods when it's usually all the same but never quite relatable enough, I am more studious and enjoy seeing other notetakers not just journaling and in a big picture way all in one spot.

Do you have a video on your color-coding system? I don’t really have a one at the moment. I’m kind of floating between two different color-coding systems right now. My main thing is just to make it easy to read the things I highlight and the notes/comments I attach to each.

The 5 day plan is wonderful!! I do recommend it to others considering using it. Although I seriously love the 5 day plan; and will come back to it in the future; for 2024 I am taking a deep dive into topical and in depth studies and you can see that in my 2024 faith journal set up video:).
