@@soulsweeper1630 €132,000 in Germany. Not expensive? The 95th percentile of salaries in Germany is 120k euro gross, which is only 60k after taxes (without considering rent, food, etc.). After all the expenses (rent, kids, presents, food, clothes, fees, other goods), you'll be left with 40k net euro savings, haha. (95th percentile) You'll have to save for 3-4 years while the car price rises. 95th percentile means that only 5% make this salary or more in Germany. So only 5% can buy this car and still only theoretically as you need to make at least 80-90k net (not gross like German salaries) to buy it new.
The dream car 👌🏽😍 No matter if it does 9 or 11sec 100 to 200.. it is quick enough 😅 If not, just think about it, that tuning potential! Just a stage 1 tune would make it so much faster 🙂

I have to agree with you so much like a Tesla model s plaid does 0-100 in 2 seconds but this car just don't have a soul. It's always awesome to have atleast some engine noises and vibration instead a dead silence car that cost alot, when you can literally buy a better car instead some Tesla model s plaid

I really hate these screen dashboards popularized by content creators like supercar blondie. It looses the essence of a car and in a decade they will make the car look very outdated. That is why Bugatti refuses adding screens. They want to make their cars feel timeless
I want my analog temperature controls and ESPECIALLY that little analog slider between the vents. Too many taps to adjust that slider to adjust the upper-body temperature independently of the rest.
So I'm the same kind of grandpa, like you, Max. Despite the fact, that I'm 38 years old, haha.😀I also think, that "video game speedo" should stay in video games. 😀 M3 G81 is gorgeous.
we have to appriciate this car. It´s super expensive to do multiple drive trains and it would be so expensive to bring the whole portfolio to the touring
They ruined the dashboard…you are totally right the previous one was perfect. This one is not Motorsport…style at all. I don’t understand certain fixations…
These cars are getting heavier and heavier. The 3 series has almost no weight difference to a 5 series and that is a bummer imo. I would expect the 3 series to be always faster and more nimble compared to the 5 series but they are taking away that low weight beast feeling away due to all types of electrical support etc.
I would love this thing if it didnt have the hideous cockpit screen. It's not you. It's just mismatched. I also don't understand why it weighs as much as my X3 M40i SUV...
I think it’s pretty but not really on point. A big muscle wagon is heavy, here 2 tons, and by definition can not be a sports car. I like those wagons with a big, stupid engine, just to cruise and enjoy the rumble of a V8 with a shit load of luggage. The inline 6 sounds great, revs pretty high, but to me it belongs in a lighter, more track focused M coupe. Just my two cents.

Can't wait to get my pre-order in the same colour and similar specs but orange interior. Placed a deposit last April, months before it was announced. Australian deliveries are so delayed that it might arrive only in July or August this year.
@@jeffreythompson1328 I put in a deposit in a nearby BMW dealer in Sydney area in April last year. This is the most sought-after BMW pre-order right now with just around 120 cars coming to Austraila for 2023 already all allocated for according to my dealer. If you put in a deposit now, expect it sometime next year.
@@wishdj Did you have access to individual order options when you went to the dealer? How much did you end up getting it for? Apparent price tag is 177,000$ but I would say that is on the hopeful side of things
@@jeffreythompson1328 The configurator is online in the build your own BMW section of BMW Australia website but with no prices mentioned. Choose 3 series Touring option and in the configuration, choose the M3 engine option. Unfortunately, without any add ons with taxes it comes close to A$200,000. If you add the carbon fibre package which include the bucket seats it's an additional $17,000. We get ripped off with car prices here in Australia.
@@wishdj Tell me about it, whole bmw website for me has no prices mentioned which is an issue. But 200,000 for a m3 is really pushing it in Aus, at this point I might aswell catch it when it depreciates a little bit. Always an option of something second hand for that much, used m760li is around 160k. Vintage ferrari, porsche all around that price too
Not a fan of two-tone roofs. *I like solid metal roofs same as body color, if not it should come with a solid Carbon Fiber Roof, and most importantly FUNCTIONAL Roof Mounts 🔩 for a Thule Rack!* I wouldn’t mind a optional Trailer Hitch as well.
The iDrive 8 screen is nice but the UI design and removal of physical buttons is a massive step in the wrong direction. BMW should fire the iDrive 8 guys and bring back the iDrive 7 guys. iD7 on that big beautiful screen, with the physical buttons back, would be perfection.
*I’ve been requesting the M3 Touring with M xDrive for years here in the 🗽 States 🇺🇸 hopefully it will make its way here 🤞🏻! It needs to come with a Carbon Fiber Roof.*

As an owner of an Audi A4 Allroad stage 2 tune I must say this is one sexy car. I never understood why you don't see more sporty wagons driving around here in the US? They're absolutely gorgeous and practical, what more could you want?

I also love such a concept: very versatile, damn quick, do-it-all car. I always wanted BMW do so it with M3, also dream of Porsche making car in this way - not to big, agile, luxurious, quick touring. Panamera Touring is too big in my opinion.
Hey Max, I’d like to know the weight difference between the M3 sedan/coupe (M4) vs this M3 touring version. 1.1s behind in the 100-200 is pretty big for what doesn’t seems to be a lot of extra weight. Thanks.

I also dislike the curved display...well not the display per se, but the operating system and that it's based on Android (or will be soon). I have a TV that has an android OS and it's the worst ever.

I guess if you have the money, Carbon brakes are cool. But for a daily driver that you don't take to the track, (and how many of us can do that) then the steel brakes are plenty good.
Ga zeker voor de touring. De m3 is al een monster. En vooral als je dan zoals Max de auto kan gebruiken voor ski vakantie 5 man in de auto en alsnog genoeg bagage ruimte om alles te dumpen. En blaast gewoon bijna 300 km over de weg. Zo dik dak koffer der op en dan ben ik helemaal verkocht ❤
Personnaly, if I d go for an M3, it would be either the regular M3 or the coupe. I don t need the extra space of a touring. The touring is just ugly...I don t like touring in general but I don t like the BMW touring shape especially over other brand. So regular or coupe but definitely not a touring 🤢🤢🤮
I don't like black roof and mirrors. I ordered body color parts (frozen grey) but, once that's done, I've found that the exhaust pipes won't be black but metallic. I don't mind anyway. Last but not least...ordered at the beginning of October 2022 and (perhaps) BMW will deliver it not before the middle of July :(
After the AUDI RS6 Avant this is my dream daily driver . It's practical , comfy , and looks cool , except the front bit , I don't really like that. A freakin uberwagon rocket , yeah !
