2023 BMW X4 M40i POV Driving Impressions! 

Have a 22' X4 M40i. Got 70k+ miles on her. Incredible car!

I have a lease for 2021 X4 M40i and I LOVE this incredible car. The engine rumble pops and bangs, it’s so fun to drive. My kids say it’s comfy. Feels so nice and secure to drive. We love the having access to physical buttons so we are planning on buying out my fully loaded beauty

I really do love the 40 versions I think it’s a phenomenal car, but if you drive an X4M before you drive this car, it will never satisfy you. This is my predicament currently now that I test drive the X for him I can’t settle for the m40. It is an absolute night and Day car.

Sometime with the M40i cars you test drive, you should switch of fake sound. It sounds more pure like that. I don't know whether the ones you drive have it, or whether it is only in specific countries (we have it in Australia). Apparently in the car settings in the engine settings you can change the fake sound through the speakers. Either way that's what we did with our X4 and it has a few options. Full (the full fake sound), a one where it depends on driving mode you are in, reduced which is just less fake sound or all off which is just better. It is really quiet and nice for a daily but even on comfort, it sounds so good even doing the sports shifts if you push the accelerator to like 90 percent and it sounds so good from the outside or in but it doesn't sound like an m5 which is not what this car is meant to be. I don't know about the mhev parts though because we don't get the mild hybrid system in Australia for the '23 X4 M40i. Great video though and I can tell you put work into these videos!

Is it true when people say the x4 is sportier and stiffer than the x3?

Can’t stand that huge panoramic moonroof, and it needs interior roof grab handles. And it should come stock with a trailer hitch. Otherwise all good!
