Visiting Angels, the nation’s leading provider of senior home care, named Lynda Prunier of Manchester, New Hampshire as its 2023 National Caregiver of the Year. She received a $5,000 prize and a special award at a surprise ceremony on Friday, July 21st.
Since joining Visiting Angels of Auburn, New Hampshire, almost three years ago, Lynda has set herself apart in the way she cares for her clients. Currently, she works with two special clients with complicated and unique needs. Lynda's dedication and devotion know no bounds, as she takes the time to educate herself about their conditions, providing exceptional care that ensures their safety and comfort.
“I’ve needed care for 40 years, and Lynda is by far the best caregiver I’ve ever had come into my home, “says Ray, one of Lynda’s clients. “If no one comes to my house in the morning, I can’t get out of bed. However, Lynda is unfailingly reliable. In the two years we’ve worked together, I’ve never had to worry if she was going to show up.”
Lynda's clients and their families also appreciate her cheerful demeanor and the way she adds a sense of brightness to their days.
