Being broke and constant worry over bill, food. Being older is hard when you feel unimportant. These don’t get better until finances get fixed. How? Ten years of worry about money. No enjoyment in life. Nothing to look forward to. You work your whole life & give. I can’t believe millions of seniors are in this position. So sad.

My dads in home care taker has isolated him in his room since she moved in AMD hes completely decompensating he thinks it's just noal.decline But a year ago before her he was walking around the neighborhood, cooking, small.chores like taking the trash out, going to.the store worh me.almost.daily buca he insisted on going to wawa dailyly to get his cigarretes instead of buying in.bulk He insisted on limiting grocery soemdimg.amd.wemt.woth me.occaisoml to shop for.his favorite meals Some he cooked himself . Now.she buys his cigs in.bulk and holds the carton.amd gives them to him like hes a child. She does the shopp ij ng and spends 2-300 a.week. bcus shes feeding herself amd her boyfriend who moved in. AMD insists on cooking big meals mostly fried food. At first we thoght it was great he was being served 3 meals a.day bcus incould barely get him to eat more than a couple times a.day. And shes a great cook. Of fried foods. Weve all gained major weight amd her attempts to make anything healthy are not appetizing In a great company amd always cooked healthy bcus of my own liver disease amd pancreatitis. I understand how important healthy meals are to me staying alive so my dad got the same food She doesnt even care. As long as shes SERVING him food all say in his room and hes happy. That's seriously all she cares about Its job stability to keep him declining I'm very upset He has had a brain tumor for 25 years and became disabled and unable to conti ue his successful career bit he adapted. And in the past year hes become unable to have a conversation ok n with me.he doesnt grasp what I am saying She just kisses his ass. Feeds him I'm bed or in the recliner in the cor.wr.of his room He doesnt keave his room mostly 24/7. All he cares about is a clean house so hes happy with her bcus she cleans alot. Speed does that... But he never leaves his room to know that the dishes sit on the counter amd the sink for 2 -3 days til she gets the motivation to clean after her 5 hour trips to somewhere. On paid time Before her qe.qerent allowed to leave dishes in the sink. He doesmt see the truth amd even when I took pictures of the kitchen to show him he didmt seem to comprehemd what I was say ing She thinks she has improved his situation. Just bcus she painted the walls and put in new carpets and cleans alot. AMD yes my parents care more about k ij ney amd clean house than enjoying life or family time But it's not on for her to just emasculated amd turn him into a.chikdlike incompetmat old man
