Great video Scout, another fantastic review. The bike makes a good impression, thanks for all your information and opinion. Have a great Sunday and ride on buddy🤙
A yamaha dealer close by carries CFMOTO, never really paid any attention to them. I may have to see one for myself. From all the features you mentioned and at that price point, may have a new player in the game. Great review man.
So smart to bring CF Moto to the bike World. The economy will love this bike when other bikes are too expensive in the near future. Excellent review! I love this bike! Thanks! 😊🤟🏼🔥 Enjoy the ride!
thanks Elizebeth! I agree, its cool to have a less expensive option on the market I hope it forces other manufactures to up there game and lower some prices
Big difference between an adventure bike and an "Off road) bike dude. But I appreciate the honest input. My son loves his headed grips on his ktm, never felt the need on my Africa though. DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS.
Thank you, and I was a little harsh on the NOT an off road vehicle, when and if I buy it I will take it on light off road. I have heated grips the the BMW GS 750 I’m testing right now and I like them so far but I was riding in the rain and would take whatever heat I could get lol. How are you enjoying the Africa? I would love to try one out
@@ScoutsOut if you are serious about getting one, the channel Ozark Back roads has one. He took his on a 4000 mile overland adventure through New Mexico Colorado back to the Ozarks. He just posted the vlogs
@@ScoutsOut if I was a bit taller I would get the Sport version of this bike. My legs are way too short. If you notice the switch gear is BMW. There's other things too if you look
Outstanding video. Been watching a few of your reviews. Love your review, banter and knowledge. I am going to buy the 2025 model update of this bike. I think the newer model will address some of the issues you raised here on this model year. The new model is 2025 IBEX 800 E. I would love to have you review this one too. Awesome reviews!
Great video man! You got a sub out of me. Just getting into the ADV and touring bike scene myself after years of being a sportbike/cruiser/dualsport rider (basically everything else LOL). I just picked up a 2016 Ducati Multistrada Enduro and am loving it, but it is so cool do see the CFMOTO scene really taking off, and getting more people into these styles of bikes!
Thanks man I appreciate that. I just bought it and I’m loving it, 3k in the last month on it. Such a great all around bike. I bet the multistrada is awesome to!
Nice review on this CF Moto! I like that the motors are used by KTM in their bikes. They are definitely offering more for less which is great. The big thing is new bike from China. That’s the elephant in the room. A lot of people are instantly not going to buy it just because of that. Aftermarket will be slow to follow for a couple years. I like the fact it puts other manufacturers on notice. Start giving us more for the money. CF Moto does! Now for reliability? A couple years and will know!
thank you, I was surprised to hear how long and how many parts CFMOTO makes for other motorcycles and yes the whole china thing is debatable only time will tell. At the price Im willing to give it a go and see how it goes.
Yeah for the price and what you get, not one to look past. I’m going to look at them where I live for sure. My Ninja 400 just got put on notice! My VFR 800 not yet
VFR is great. For a sport tourer, it’s awesome. Only thing, a little heavy(520lbs) and thirsty but very stable and the VTEC is fun when it kicks in! 2008 model with Delkevic carbon slip ons. V4 sound is the best hands down!
(5:20) because people are afraid to step out of there comfort zone, when it comes to brand names. I'm coming off a Goldwing (looking for a lighter bike) to a CFMOTO 800TS
I bought one yesterday and don’t even know how to ride a motorcycle. My course isn’t until the end of February but I couldn’t pass up the 0.99% promotional APR offer which ends in like 2 days. Got the luggage too 😂
If i get a new bike this or a v strom 650 xt but this is better looking and has all the stuff just how will this bike be with 50,000miles mine fjr has 60,000 and still perfect
Yea I hear ya man, the long run is still unknown. I did end up buying it though and I can tell you after 4k miles in just over a month… I love it. I’m just finishing up a 1 month review of it that should be posted soon
I test rode the Ibex twice at Laguna that day, once in Sport mode, once in Rain mode. Couldn't get past the off idle response and the lack of feedback from the indicator switch. Other than that it was a great bike. If they could fix that off idle snatchyness off idle in low gears I would definitely buy one. If you can live with that, its a great bike.
