Thanks guys I have the exact same issue. Dealer couldn't fix it. Going to try this now Just went and did this. Went to the limit each way and everything in between. Can't get 'P' to show. Must be a bad transmission?!
What is it about the one under the seat that makes it not adjustable, and the one under the dash is adjustable, they both look like jam nuts on a fork to me, I’m not sure of the difference.
Mine won’t come out of gear just like the cforce 600 I had but the 1000 is harder to rock back and forth and won’t read low or park sometimes as well. Ended up ripping on the lever a few times now when nothing else worked. Great machine otherwise
There’s a nut on both sides. Depending on what way it needs adjusted, it needs to shift towards or away from the position it’s in and then both nuts tightened to hold it in place
