Window lockout is in the infotainment screen....some where. I guess under vehicle where you can change park assist, traction control, fogs, lights etc? I don't think the Colorado has lane centering, it does have lane keep assist which is a little bit different, it helps prevent unintended lane departure but does not keep you centered in the lane. I've been seeing a lot of people on reddit had a bad software update that completely drained their battery. I'm guessing this did not happen to you this week? I wonder if disconnecting your battery for 10 minutes then reconnecting it would reset some things? It seems to have fixed issues for some owners. Other owners that have check engine lights with tons of codes, found that it was caused by a bad wiring harness (not connected well and not grounded well). Wonder if this could also be a reason for your check engine light. Great video as always, I like your more practical approach to reviewing the truck and your experience with it. Camping in the rain is not the most fun thing but that does remind me that I could use some better rain gear as well.
Thanks for the kind words! I've been following the battery and fuse mayhem I've seen on the subreddit as well. I was unaffected by the update that bricked others trucks. But this might be because I don't pay for the data in the truck. I'm not sure if the update can be pushed to the truck since I'm not connected to wifi or cellular data, but not 100% on that. My camping stuff got a bit wet but my brother's tent got absolutely SOAKED. They were beyond saving. I was just a bit damp in my tent and could've stayed, but would've been a bit uncomfortable. Weather changes quickly in Appalachia! Kudos on the window lock, I'll have to check the infotainment tomorrow. Would be a big game changer for me. Dogs LOVE to stick their heads out the window and their paws on the doors and always end up rolling the windows down all the way.
the gray looks killer. white, gray, or red were my 3 color choices. i found a while one first so pulled the trigger. what's going on with your fuel gauge?
Login to your google account on your infotainment. Instead of showing "driver" up top itll have your name. Once I did that I quit having the android auto not connecting sometimes issues
This might fix it! It went away after my 1 month trial of data. I am not paying for the cellular data/hotspot in the truck so google assistant, navigation, and apps in the infotainment don't work anymore. I can't login without paying for the subscription either, so who knows.
@@scootersstuff you should be able to login if your car is connected to WiFi (parked in your driveway) or a Hotspot. You can turn on your phone's hotspot and while driving all of the baked in functionality should work.
How long is it from the passenger seat foot area to back of the cab? Please update us on what the dealer says when you do take her in for that service light. Thanks 👍 I'll ask a friend to subscribe. 250 is a great milestone. Congrats
you know i never thought about all the newer cars babying people... i have a 99 sonoma... and its weird thinking about people listening to the car more then lookin out for themselves.
@@scootersstuff should leave it while your on vaca then when they want to start fixing it when your there to pick it up you won't be wrong in verbal abusing the poor chap
Camping, biking, beach, bikinis, good food coffee vs sitting in a crappy dealership. The truck drives. CEL are just Chevy things, right?! that's what i keep telling myself. really need to get it checked out but really dreading going to the dealership, it's always a hassle. thanks for the comment
