No. 4 Florida State defeated Miami 27-20 to complete a perfect 8-0 run through its ACC schedule. The win improved FSU to 10-0 overall, the eighth time in program history FSU has started a season with at least 10 wins. The Seminoles were led by Jordan Travis' 265 passing yards and game-winning touchdown score to Keon Coleman who added a 57-yard punt return to his receiving production. Travis became the first FSU starting quarterback to win three games in the series. Running back Trey Benson rushed for two touchdowns, his fourth multiple-touchdown game of the season. Linebacker Kalen DeLoach led the defense with a career-high 10 tackles, including 2.0 sacks. Florida State held its opponent to 33.3 percent completions and 25 percent on 3rd downs. Jarrian Jones ended Miami's final drive, clinching the win with an interception on a 4th-down throw.
