2023 CrossFit Games Recap 

Great Games by the way. As a Canadian I am extremely proud of you, Adler, and Emma Lawson for ending up on the podium and for Fikowski finishing fourth. Emily Rolfe did an amazing job as well. It was a great Games for Canadians.

Patty you did it again 😎 It’s always a good day to be a Vellner fan. What you did for Roman speaks volumes and it’s something he will remember forever. Can’t wait for season 2024 🎉

Patty V., First of all, the sportsmanship and gentlemanship toward Roman is absolutely a testament to your character. So awesome to witness. Second, fuck all that noise when people talk about your age or hint at retirement. For real, fuck that. Your progression over the years and your consistency [Most consistent individual male podium finisher still competing] at the Games is amazing and definitely places you amongst the greatest of all time. It really is amazing to see your evolution alongside and with the sport and your ability to be successful through it all. I believe you, more than any of the current athletes, has the ability to be the Fittest on Earth. I hope you will take that aggressive mindset your wife wisely advised, into all of your competitions because I think your are the most successful when you bring some swagger and aggression into the competition! Anyway, you're the man Pat and I so enjoy watching you compete. Thank you!

Fun Fact Pat. The 5k course was actually just over 4.5 kms long because Crossfit when they measured it out with a walking distance wheel three times they forgot to change it over from yards.
