Thank you for taking the time to do this type of video. I know it's exhausting talking that much, then mentally deciding on each palette. I love your thoughts and reasonings for what you keep and what you don't. I like that you love so many indie brands and tell what you love and don't love about them. I appreciate all your hard work! You've helped me decide whether to purchase quite a few palettes I've been looking at for a while now.

I’m with you! At my last count, I had over 300.. (some are quads tho, and maybe don’t count as palettes. My drug store stuff kinda doesn’t count either! Lol)
I always appreciate influencers that are HONEST! You can always tell by the collection and declutter videos. I don't expect people to declutter a lot (if any, lol, because I have a pretty big collection of eyeshadow palettes myself) but it's nice to see the honesty about what they love and really don't like and why. Your honesty about Game Beauty shows that. A lot of other influencers say how great they are and go on and on about them and I don't see it. I also know preferences can change and it takes time to form an opinion on a palette. All to say, great video!!
An idea that helped me was picking up some magnetic palettes and depot the shades I like and declutter the rest, i can also take those massive palettes and depot them into a reasonable one.
The Giant Wolves, the 2 Christmas palettes from odens eye, and the muerte palette are those white whale palettes that got away from some people. I’m happy to have all of them. Also I have your menagerie palette and the quality is so good! I love that in the late spring and summer.
I am 100% looking forward to a dedicated review of the Sugar Drizzle holographic shadow palette. I noticed it on their website this morning and now it’s on my wish list, pending reviews so I’ll know what it looks like.

Hi Annette! Don't get rid of the Warms my blood yet. I had the same creasing issue (never had ANY eyeshadow creasing on me), those are really greasy shadows, but I fixed the issue in ten minutes. Just press repeatedly some paper towel on the pans, it'll absorb the excess oils. Marte's makeup did the same with her Oden's Eye singles, she has it explained on her IG stories (she also repanned but I skipped that). The only shade I wasn't able to fix was Centuries which has become hard as a piece of plastics 😤 Thank you for this video, I agree that the number doesn't matter, as long as what you have makes you happy! I’ve heard of your channel before, but this is my first time, actually sitting down and watching your channel. It’s mighty refreshing to watch your declutters. I like how you do them. Firstly, you don’t have the same redundant stuff that I see in other peoples collections which is OK but I like the variety of palettes that you have because it exposes me to other brands. Additionally, I like how you go into detail about each of the palettes so that way if I am looking at these indie brands, I have some type of feedback as to what I’m looking at and if I’m looking at getting something along those lines in the future. I just RUSHED to buy the Aligning My Future palette , I had no idea it existed and it is THE pastel palette ive been searching for , glad I saw this when I did to cause its currently on sale and you cant find it on the site unless you type it in the search bar so I assume its about to be discontinued

I haven’t tried glaminatrix, but I’d really love to try their nearly natural palette sometime. It definitely does look like the perfect neutral palette. That and the nude prism palette by lunar beauty.
I debated between the two but ended up getting the Glaminatrix version. I love it! The tones are so good with my skin tone (fair). I always feel glamorous when I wear the shadows.
The wicked widow beauty palette shaped like a boot 👢 is Yallternative. They actually put out 2 different formulas to choose from when ordering. There is a duo chrome option if you didn’t like glitters. The duo chrome version costs quite a bit more though.
I really want to try Plouise, but when I see their packaging I just don't want to anymore tbh And I know I'm missing out some amazing mattes, but it's just a big no.
I have my Plouise in a separate box and some on my table 🤣I also bought 2 of the really large but flat palettes. The one for new year has pretty pinks and peaches with really nice shimmers
I love Spellbound. I came across them in Etsy and have since ordered all their palettes LOL! Great declutter! I love hearing your thoughts on all the palettes. I could not have parted with as many as you did. ETA I got a couple Dede's quads off Mercari and I really liked them. I'm bummed they went out of business before I could give them a proper try.
My collection has about 70 and I’ve put aside 40 that I don’t use or like. There are a lot of older palettes including the monochrome color pops and other drug store palettes. They are so very gently used but I can’t think of anyone to give them to. What do I do with them?? What will you do with yours?
I would try to depot your plouise palettes. I had to depot my GlamLite palettes because of the weird food packaging that was bulky and I found myself not using them because I hated the packaging but now I love them in a magnetic palette. Give me glow has giant magnetic palettes and I have 3 with all my colourpop eyeshadows GlamLite and unearthly.
Yeah I made the mistake of tossing the outter packaging of my mothership palettes and I never know which is which and I can't find where it says on the palette itself
Do you have any suggestions as to how to upcycle your decluttered palettes? I don't have any makeup loving friends or family, and I would feel awful just throwing them away!
Hi! I too don't have any makeup-loving friends, so when I declutter something that is still good I gift it to a women's shelter in my hometown. Not all of them accept used makeup, but you can give it a try! ☺️
Someone educate me on why it pressed glitter always seems to be a bad thing I never understood why 😭 pressed glitters dont bother me and i actually kinda like them (maybe i haven't used them often enough to know why they suck?)
Just to help with pressed glitters. There are some people, also governing bodies that believe they are not eye safe. If the glitter particle is too big. Glitter can fall into the eye through the lash and scratch the corneas. It is up to the individual wear they wear it.
I keep trying to get my hands on the milf palette but it's never in stock when I can order. I just tried the brand for the first time and it's the sequel palette. It's quite stunning but I think I duped my own collection with it.
@@makeupthoughts777 boo lol. Yeah I went to order it, it was out of stock so I ordered the sequel because I planned to try sugar drizzle in January and I liked it as well. Not 5 days later it's restocked but I had already spent my make-up budget for the month. I guess I'm not meant to have it lol.
I miss Paulina posting on RU-vid! I know she had a baby and is still on IG, but I don’t have IG so I can’t keep up with her there. I selfishly hope she comes back one day to post even occasionally a few times per year, but I understand if she’s busy with her personal life and is off to better opportunities. I still have her palette. It’s definitely not my color story anymore. I don’t like brights, especially not bright pink combined with bright lime green, but I keep it for nostalgic reasons. I still like to use it in the spring time.
