Enjoy your vacation! Dont burn yourself out, people who watch educational content prefer long term presence and stability rather than a bunch of quick non-stop uploads, no matter what the algo says. We'll be there when you come back... Maybe start with Gym economics in January and why new years resolutions cost us billions in broken promises ;)

In a particular industry, 2023 is the year of layoffs in tech. Money is no longer free, so VCs have cut back a lot. That helped kill SVB but also got mass layoffs at Facebook, Google, etc. It also has led to a steep drop in film productions because Amazon and Netflix were competing for eyeballs with borrowed money… and now they are competing for ROI instead.

"Competing for roi" lol no. Sorry. Every business I have any insight into, are all still trying to work like silicon valley startups. Just mislead investors into shelling out unlimited money, and make the quarterly numbers work even if you have to fire all your employees, mash calculate on Excel, then aggressively rehire for all those roles.

You and Patrick Boyle are the two main fiancial channels I watch. I think you can do alot of good by making some personal fiance/live within your means video. We Asian americans are constnaly joking and making fun at how badly other Americans are at managing their money, and this gneralizarion has a lot of truth to it. The American Americsn can really benefit from what asia parents teachs us about money.
