You can fold the headrest with the button on the right for the rear seat to fold it fully. You don’t need to move the front seat except if you fully put the front to the max.
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 the Bronco Sport is very well designed. I recommend the 2.0L turbo 250hp 277 ft lbs at 3000rpm. It is a beast. With the trailer mode only found up to now on the 4runner toyota. The dual clutch transmission is working great. I bought the first model 2021 badlands and it is 100% reliable in cold and heat conditions here in Quebec Canada. Highly recommended vehicle especially with 4 cyl turbo.
There are definitely a few things I like about the Bronco, such as the rear glass entry, 8 speed auto with decent torque converter, and he compact size and shape. But if I had to buy one today, my preference would still be the Wilderness. 🙂
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208just watched this review again. If the Bronco Sport has the same AWD system has my old Explorer had it is not nearly as good as the Outback I replaced it with! Subaru’s AWD is the best out there. I am waiting to test out the H-Trac AWD system in my wife’s Hyundai Tucson this winter to see how it compares to the Outback.
@@FordEnthusiast413The badlands has a front and rear clutch base locking differential (not a true locker) I don't believe Subaru offers anything like it.
@@fredjones152 Subaru does not need to offer a locking differential as its AWD system is the best. No buttons to push or drive modes to select. Just start the car and drive.
I really like that brown leather. I wish more manufacturers would add some color in their interiors. Remember the 80s, when interiors/seats/dashes had the option to come in blue, red, tan, brown, plaid, etc... These days, it's like 99% are either boring black or gray. yawn.
I agree I hate the 1990 Depressing Grey and Death Black interior colors. We bought my wife’s Outback with Ivory (lite tan) interior and my Forester has Saddle Brown interior. Our 11 Ford Ranger had grey and black interior so I had it reupholstered in Red with black trim as the exterior paint is custom Silver over Red Metallic
It’s possible, but I’m unsure how the transmission would have responded to that, and where this engines peak power and torque start to fall off. I think using paddles on modern cars has more acceleration risk to lose than to gain, they’re tuned quite well. However, if you do a rolling acceleration and can start in a lower gear to build boost pressure I think you’ll get a good acceleration leap immediately, kind of like a brake revved launch. Thanks for watching! 🙂
You’re right! The 4th gen Focus platform which is a global platform that started in 2018. I just didn’t mention that vs. the other “suv” type vehicles to not let it lose any off-road street cred, lol. Although the Outback is also based off of the Legacy sedan so basically everything that isn’t body on frame truck based is practically a car based vehicle, I guess. 🤷♂️😅
@@Doc1855 hahaha, I feel ya. However, the good news is majority of the Escapes have been very reliable vehicles. I work for Ford, gone through a bunch of vehicles and k actually ordered a second bronco sport bc I loved it so much!
I own a dozen trucks with the 10 speed tranny, in my personal and business trucks and they're a fantastic transmission. Anyway, this is an 8 speed tranny
