@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA Yeah, I’m not blaming you at all, I know the higher trims come with tons of unneeded electronics. I just don’t know why they think people want a power tailgate? I got a new crew cab long bed F250 with 48 gallon gas tank and 7.3 Godzilla for $49,500 with Ford A plan discount because I went with a cheaper XL model, but it still has remote start, vinyl seats and floors, power everything, big screen,etc. Then I spent 4K on a level kit, new shocks, new front end components, and some badass wheels and tires. $54,000 total and it’s a badass, simple truck.

@SeekASquatch Just took delivery of my 2023 Raptor on Saturday. Now having driven both its safe to say the truck is 95% the same as my 2021 lariat when it comes to comfort and technology, has a little more power than my lariat and obviously has a better look. For the average truck guy Id say its not worth the extra 25k-30K. unless you have the money to spend. what I'm saying is you are not missing out on much if you have a lesser trim. A high spec lariat/platinum is just as nice as a truck to drive.

@SeekASquatch not really, I'm comparing a mid/high level trim of a lariat to the price king of the f150 line up which is the raptor. A sport is a bit far off from a Rubicon. Ill give you Sahara - Rubicon. what I'm saying is now that I've had both and now daily a raptor, its pretty much the same truck. Especially when you fully load the lariat. Its just missing the suspension upgrade and a face lift. suspension can be easily matched for a few grand. I can tell you drive the base model lariat but one day when you can get some nice options you'll agree its more or less the same truck at the end of the day. You think anyone is out there racing their Raptor Baja style off the lot?? you're an idiot. Most raptor owners are afraid to touch grass let alone a trail and you know it, they just like it cause it looks good which is fine too. I'm not claiming I jump the fkn thing on the weekends but yeah my lariat did the same shit my raptor does for 25k less lol both get me around my property fine and haul my dirt bikes, boat and utv with ease. only upgraded cause it looks and sounds better in my opinion. Maybe one day you'll roll with your pops and I in the Raptors, until then build that lariat up or maybe just trade it in for a Honda Ridgeline. That's probably a little more your speed with how much you bitch online.
