I was about to say, “you did a whole video on lights and never showed their output at night.” Then you said you would do a video about that soon. Looking forward to that!
@@CJCOffRoad I don’t mind longer videos. So many people have short attention spans these days, but if it’s something I’m interested in I just want to see more.
I have those yellow Baja Designs on my 2021 RAM 2500, purchased from CJC. Of the 3 levels of output offered, i went with the middle of the 3 and they are awesome! Also went with the CJC cover and got rid of that ugly plastic thing underneath the front bumper.
Awesome upgrades! The new fog lights, light bars, A-pillar, and reverse lights on the 2023+ Ford Super Duty look fantastic. We sent you an email, take a look.
No but there are written instructions. The bumper has to be removed, but here's a link to check it out: www.bajadesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/44-8229-44-8229-UP-2023-Super-Duty-XL-Linkable-Instructions.pdf
We had custom headlight builder, Retroshop, swap the LED boards to amber, color match the surrounds, and do smoked marker lights. It’s a really nice upgrade.
@@CJCOffRoad it looks awesome. When I had my truck wrapped the shop smoked the markers and the chrome, would love to add the amber. Hopefully someone starts selling these
The weight difference is negligible from the 7.3 as far as tuning is concerned, so Carli has a gas tune for all level height systems that works on both gas engine options. That gas version includes different coils and shocks.
Thanks for posting this! How's the factory forward camera visibility with no light in the center position of the Factory Aftermarket light bar? I'm debating this option with 4 LP9s vs the XL Linkable. I'm also waiting to see what Baja Design's bull bar that will be to come will look like as far as camera visibility.
It’s actually very usable, since that center light is what blocks the view. We’ve had a few customers do that, but our opinion is that the 40” light bar is a better move. You get more light, and minimal camera blockage.
At this time no, but that’s where that XL80 fog kit comes in. That’s a TON of light output without anything blocking the camera. The issue with grille lights is how many different grille designs Ford decided to make for 23+ trucks. It really makes it difficult to create something that works well with all of them!
I'm really noticing the lack of popularity with chase racks these days...any feedback on this? Aside from SEMA builds and the Shelby... nobody seems to be adding them to SD's. With retractable lights for highway, it should help with road noise complaints.
They’re just not practical. They take up bed space, look kinda funky, and the lights mounted at the rear of such a big cab just end up glaring off the roof/hood and not providing usable light. They’re a show thing for a reason!
@@CJCOffRoad Roger, I noticed how BD on their light demo video only focuses on adding their Laser lights up there for long range...seems like the only practical application?
