There are no words to describe my admiration for the beauty of this park and garden. A garden like a dream. Wonderful shots. Space, as if a person was floating in the air and transported from a beautiful place to an even more wonderful place. Just like in a fairy tale. There are no words looking at this beauty...❤💗💗💗❤ Viewing this garden is a real treat. Thank you for inviting me to walk all year round
Завжди дивлюся на твій сад у твоїх відео і відпочиваю душею. А позитивні емоції, коли в моїй країні війна, просто рятівні, дякую тобі, друже! Бережи свою сім’ю і країну!❤🎉❤🇺🇦
@@gardenofpraise567 happy new year, i wonder, i see a lot of wildlife, even bears, are they agressive if you enter the garden.... or do you keep the proper distance.....
The black bears are very gentle, actually they are the ones keep distance from human. They only show up when it’s very quiet, that’s why we bumped to each other a lot 🙂🙂 The same, bobcats also just walked away from me. But I do take cautions when I see cubs with momma bear together, and not to leave any sweets out in the patio table for too long. They are such wonderful creatures!
So beautiful in so many ways and seasons. I am very impressed with all the plantings and the camera views of the many layers. ❤ to be so fortunate to have this in one’s life is amazing!
Your garden has the most diversity of plants and trees I’ve seen on RU-vid. The flow and addition of tasteful statuary and hard elements really compliment your spaces. I’m planning to implement your idea for the post lights. You have the most beautiful and colorful Mountain Laurels I’ve ever seen. I could go on and on about the beauty and the health of your garden. The wildlife love it too! Thank you for bringing us into your garden with your beautiful display and music choices. Just brings so much Peace.
May peace be with all of those who love nature🙏 Every single mountain Laurel ware planted by the previous owner, which I believe his spirit is still in the garden. I am very blessed to continue his legacy. The solar light posts are great, they are not only functional, add structural charm too! Thank you very much for your kind wards, God bless❤
Witaj, ogród jest bajeczny! Gratulacje i owacje na stojąco 😊 czy ten piekny niedźwiedź to tylko moje przywidzenie? 😉 Pozdrowienia z 🇵🇱 @@gardenofpraise567
@@konrad6609Hello my garden friend from Poland❤ sorry I’ve missed your message and just noticed now. The bears are my blessings, they are free to come and go, I love them! But I am afraid the developments around me are not helping them at all, we can only hope the best, thank you for visiting my garden, God bless🙏😊
Oh my thank you thank you for sharing your garden with us! What a joy! I just stumbled across this video and I am simply captivated! Oh! So much fun! OK - what I enjoyed: your photography is wonderful; slow, sensitive, lingering on vistas or plants so that we might see what you see. I enjoyed your variety of plants! You definitely have acidic soil -ha the blue hydrangea gave it away. Also your row of Kalmias, the gorgeous rhodies and azaleas - so lovely! I am in high desert rocky alkaline soil so I can only dream of such plants! Loved your kousa dogwood in bloom! I noticed no tulips - the bunnies would probably get those! It is wonderful to view a mature garden. You must have spent years developing it! It was so great to watch the seasons move through! Sigh. I do have a question, if you see this comment. The music for December - is it a hymn? I don’t recognize it but it is charming. Very sweet. Perfect for video. Thank you again for letting us see God’s creations at your house.
The music for December is “Sweeter the bells never sound”, a German Christmas carol by Friedrich Wilhelm Kritzinger, a poet and hymn writer from 1860, you must fell in love with it like I did! I haven’t find the English translation yet, but I may ask a German friend to help since you mentioned it! Although I just started about 8years ago, but this garden is about 40years old, you can tell by all the ornamental trees and spring shrubs, I can only say that I am very very very blessed! There is not a chance I can plant any tulips not only because the rabbits, deers is my major headache. They wipe out all my hostas every summer, and winter time, they even damage my rhododendrons and azaleas! Well, I just have to learn to accept and respect nature. I was born and raised in a semitropical environment in southern China, but after decades, this garden truly spoke to me, this is where I belong. Thank you so much for your beautiful comment, you made my day! God bless! ❤️🙏😊
Thank you for sharing your personal sanctuary. The garden is so tranquil and incredibly beautiful. The photography throughout the video is so sensitive, and picks up the many little garden details. I especially like seeing all the animals, both big and small. Seeing the garden in all seasons is wonderful. I am just north of you in the Bershires, so my zone is a tad cooler, especially without good snow coverage for protection. Happy gardening!
Hi my neighbor garden friend! New England is beautiful , we have the beauty of all four seasons yes? Thank you for stopping by, I am sure I’ll see you again in spring😊❤
I have watched your garden be transformed over the years and never tire in amazement of what all you have done to beautify what you have been blessed with, even in times of adversity in loosing major trees or those that have gotten chewed on by the bear. You continue to bless so many people with your talents and love of nature.
I feel blessed! Thank you Mary! How are you doing? I hope you have completely recovered from your last year’s surgery🙏 Although winter time is for resting from gardening, but my mind is non stop spinning prepare for spring to come, there are still many areas need to be developed 😊 plus that one pond project is still awaiting… Winter is tough time for mental health, garden reviews not only for my own, others out there help a lot. God is good, He gives us hope🙏
Recovered well. Thanks for asking. Spending winter in Florida, though don’t remember it ever being this cold here. I keep telling myself, that it’s better than being in Illinois! Lots of time indoors looking at gardening, inspirations on RU-vid and other channels. Your dedication to your channel helps me pass the days with gladness.
@@maryhomann2127 oh yes that’s right, I almost forgot about you normally spend your winter times in FL! Enjoy! Winter is too long in Illinois😀 I was about flight out of US to Tokyo 10 days ago, at last moment, I’ve realized my passport expired!😨
Oh no! I know it takes a long time to get passport processed but maybe there was a reason to stay in the states for now. While you wait, enjoy the R&R as you contemplate the plans for your new pond and your plans for the spring. Oh, how I wish I lived closer so I could be able to walk through your garden and experience your walk a-bouts in person. It would be heavenly!
Sou amante da natureza, das árvores, flores e dos animais. Fiquei comovido com tanta beleza, extasiado, senti como se estivesse a apreciar in loco. ❤❤❤❤obrigado!
This is my first time seeing your video… speechless. I will be watching this one many times over and all the other videos as well. Absolutely stunning❤❤❤❤
enjoyed the video, i love the snow also. we hardly ever have snow here in ga. such a relaxing video, love all the colors of the trees. thank you for sharing.
Now I see you all year round😄 You seem very much connecting with FengShui (風水, wind &water), which means natural energy. Our inner peace comes from it, I wish the more people respect it. Have a nice day!
Actually I grew up in southing China, but I really like the four seasons in New England, just wish spring is bit longer. Thinking about relocate for the sake of snow? 😄😄
Working in the garden bring so much pleasure, for not only myself, to those close to me including wildlife, it’s a win win😊 thank you! It’s so nice to see again, happy new year!
I saw that you are in Connecticut. I am in PA not that far. God your garden is beautiful. I am in process of creating mine and I am amazed at all the mature trees and shrubs that you have.
@@SM-uu6km thank you for the comment, you are very kind! Indeed I am very blessed, when I started this garden 9 years ago, all trees and spring shrubs welcome me like my life time friends❤️ I am sure you’ll do well in your garden, there are so much we can learn from others, how wonderful!
Hi my garden friend from Brazil😊 thank you for taking time wrote me nice comment❤ I have quite a few bears visited my garden each year, sometimes even momma bear with cubs! Happy New Year🎉
Good morning my garden friend! At this moment, my area is still very natural, surrounding by woodlands, rivers and hills to provide shelters and food source for wild life, how lucky we are as human! The first time I met one of the bears was a shock, we ware literally face to face and freeze, but then he(she) just gracefully walked away😅 black bears have mild temper, hardly attack human, unlike brown bears in the west coast. Thank you for visiting, I’ll see you again😊
Loving the recap ❤🤎 and as always I noticed things differently. Are ur gardens walled by the bricks/stones because of water collection in those areas? And do u have a total of 2 ponds? I only ask cause with all the rains we’ve been having on the East Coast it seems like I’m building and rebuilding the same gardens because of washouts. I can see the channels of the water flow but now watching ur layout I’m thinking I’ll need to gather stones which our yard have plenty of and construct walls like u have. I’m sure I’ll send another question but plz know that it’s because I love your garden and aspire to have one looking like that one day. This is only season 2 for me so I have a long way to go. Thanks 🙏🏽 again for sharing. Ur garden puts me into the words of the song “In The Garden” it says~~I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses and the voice I hear falling on my ears the Son of God discloses and He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own and the joy we share as we tarry there none other has ever known (something like that) May God continue to bless you and your land as you tend to your piece of Eden 😊🥰🤎🤎
Oh yes, I love that hymn too!❤ It’s hard to imagine my life without this garden, indeed God’s blessings! I’ve always wanted an after feature, so the first one was a mini pond, immediately added one more, then another one more! They were all dug out my own hands. More stones laying around in my land awaiting for my creations, don’t I wish I am young and strong hahah😂 Thank you for writing me such nice comment, have a happy new year🎉
wow soo beautiful what is the size of your land parcel some details would be nice truly unmatched landscaping cant imagine how much time and effort you must have put in a truly rewarding experience
Hi there, I am so sorry I’ve missed your comment! My home has 2 acres of land, although I have been taking care of this garden for the past 8 years, most of mature ornamental trees and spring shrubs ware planted in the mid 80’s by the previous owner. Gardening is my passion, therefore I never feel it’s hard work, instead, I am greatly rewarded both physically and spiritually. Since I am the only one taking care of this garden, with some help from my husband, I also have to cook and clean, taking photos to make garden movies, I found myself with lots of defects in many ways… but in the end of day, I have no complaints, and every morning when I wake up, there is always some new creations waiting for me, how exciting! Please do ask me any questions, I’ll try my best to answer, thank you my garden friend!❤
Thank you so very much! I bet you are just like me, crazy about gardening😊 Yes, that’s a bobcat, through out season, I see them in pair, sometimes momma with little ones too! Have a nice day and a happy new year❤️
Your gardens are so beautiful. When I need a taste of spring I just watch one of your videos. Thank you for posting these lovely videos. I appreciate your work.😊
Not really, because there are too many of them 😢 by spring, some rhododendrons were eaten, all hostas also would be wiped out by mid-late summer. Rich purple color of asters are my favorite for early fall, but none of the survive from rabbits… well, we can only try our best right? Thank you for visiting, have a Happy New Year🎉
Nature sounds can be disturbed by modernization, for I live in a suburb of a big city, besides traffic noises from a public road nearby, I also have to deal with neighbors mowing and blowing sounds, sometimes even in the mornings and evenings when I love to take a walk in my garden. Very soon, there will be condos being build right at my backyard. In the end of day, I can only say: I tried, I am safe, and I am grateful with my garden on earth🙏 Thank you for visiting, spring is here soon, let’s hope for the best!
Wow what a beautiful place. The plants are breath taking. Where is this located, and do you have to practice safety on a daily basis to venture out in the gardens due to the wild life?
Hi my garden friend! Thank you for your sweet comment! I am in New England, north west of Connecticut. The most headachy I have is the deer, they eat lots of my plants. There is no worries about the bear, they are very gentle, just lingering around here and there on nice and quiet days. We often bumped to each other, they seem to know me and consider as their friend. Today was beautiful, I’ve created another flower bed for hydrangea! Hope to see you again soon😊
@@gardenofpraise567 That sounds so purrrfect, we are in Indiana no bears but lots of deer. I giggled a bit when I watched as one of the bears leaned in to smell the foliage on the tree/bush and then let it scratch its back. It is so nice they recognize and accept you. I just ordered 8 hydrangeas a few moments ago, they will be foundation cover across the front porch. The wife has been wanting for awhile I finally got around to it. I just love spring and I have lots of dirt under my nails every day -lol.
Thank you for the comment! Every time when is photo presented instead of video, the music became louder, I’ve been trying to solve this problem, sorry, I am not that high tech…
@@gardenofpraise567 it is so amazing! 😍🥰How many generations does it take to make this garden? Most of the trees look very old. The disectum maples are huge!
@@gardenofpraise567 The previous owner must be very proud how you have taken care of this beautiful garden. The cultivars are chosen with a lot of care to be in the right spot and the colors are so beautiful! The evergreens are trimmed with such precision. It is a pleasure to see all this gifts of mother nature!
If you look into my account, you’ll find my location, which is New England. I’ll try my best to answer all questions, for a video like this one covers all seasons, putting down all info is bit challenge please understand, thank you!
