The 2.0 has around 250 hp and 260ft torque. The 3.3 has 368 hp 376ft torque

Sad the salesmen don't know the cars they are selling. I got the 22 2.0t 252 h and 260 t.

@Don Baird absolutely I borrowed one when I got my oil changed at genesis and it's very powerful. For the 2.0 t is not bad except with a lot of lag in comfort mode but I put a jb4 on it and now it's a completely different car now.

If anyone is interested in getting the 4cyl, i would consider waiting for the 2024 as it will carry the 300HP 2.5l engine from the stinger gt line.

I rented out the 2.0t When I was in Texas trust me it's plenty of power if you don't want nothing too crazy but the V6 doesn't sound too bad either

Same! I test drove Cadillac ct5v and acura tlx type s and the g70 was quite comparable to the those and I was pleasantly surprised. Both Cadillac and Acura want over $65K but Genesis was willing to negotiate to $57K for sport prestige (top trim)!

Sadly, as is often the case, the salesman doesn't know much about the car. The 3.3 makes 113 more horsepower, not 60 more. He makes other misstatements as well. They're both great cars, but do your own research and forget what the salesman says.

I have a 2 L , in sports mode there is no hesitation and the car really takes of … It is still pretty quick ( I think 0-100 in 6 sec) That is more than enough !!! I’ve driven the 3.3 and yea it’s a lot more powerful … but is it really necessary? ( of course it is 😂 Just not for me )

I have the 2.0 it's fine. Rear seat is small though. 3.3 is nice. They are doing market value adjustment in NJ. Prices are ridiculous.

No market adjustments here. I got my 2023 3.3 Sport Prestige for 50,345 before ttl. I got them to take 5k off the sticker.

@@LegendsPizzaCo I have 2020 3.3 L AWD Prestige for 53K with 5K off. Only one option i don't have is adaptive suspension. Very happy with my Genesis. 4 trips from Florida to NYC, including one during very nasty snow storm. Tanks AWD ☺ 48K miles without any problems.

When in cruise control, the car will automatically slow down if there's a car in front of you.

This car ought to be 6-12 inches longer with that space added to backseat legroom. It would've been such a simple thing. They should do this in an update. Simply no reason to make back seats that small in a sedan, when a few inches of additional car length don't cost much.

The handling is much better in the G70 than the longer Kia. I bought a 2023 G70 3.3 AWD after considering a BMW M340i that would have cost me $15,000 more with my trade. No contest.

@@coolbreeze253 Fair enough. Still, lots of things go into a car’s handling capability. I can’t imagine adding 6-12 inches of overall length would materially degrade the car’s handling. My thumb to pinky finger on one outstretched hand is longer than 8 inches. While it would obviously *upgrade* back seat comfort.

This car isn't meant for a large back seat. It's a compact sports sedan and this category rarely has much back seat room. If you been more room get the G80. I kinda like how small the car is. I feel it helps with the way it feels and handles. But there is definitely not much space back there.

@@LegendsPizzaCothe problem is that you can actually fit in the back seat of the competition. At the auto show i felt like i was in the back of my mustang 😂. But everything else is wonderful

@@coolbreeze253 I'm laughing. I bought a 2020 G70 3.3 AWD Prestige after the same consideration. ☺ I also looked at BMW M340i. It would cost me 12K-15K more. I chose Genesis and don't regret it.

The Genesis G70 2.0T RWD and Genesis G70 2.0T AWD trims utilize a 252-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine while the Genesis G70 3.3T RWD and Genesis G70 3.3T AWD are fitted with a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6 making 365 horsepower.

Only issues I have with the 2L are: no seat memory settings and the center dash area looks a bit naked. Spots for buttons are there but not functional.
