Carbon Wheels can increase acceleration add additional stiffness, save weight, dampen road vibration and add better aerodynamic dynamics to the bike. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade to any bike that does not have carbon wheels.
The stock PR2 wheels are heavy. The lighter carbon wheels are a noticeable improvement. Like trying to run in dress shoes and then putting on light running spikes.
Yes. Even if you don’t get carbon wheels, I highly recommend spending and extra $800 or so on a good wheelset with good hubs. If you can afford carbon, get em.
