This was by far the most detailed video I could find on the install of these splash guards. I installed them on my 2024 AT today, the install took longer than expected but not overly difficult. I drilled out the hole for the push pins on the front splash guards as suggested and they went in without any issues. Thank you for making the great video, it would have taken me much longer to do the install without it.

Great DIY video! I just used yours to do mine! Well done! For the push tab on the underside, front, I used a 5/16 drill bit to mildly enlarge the hole of the splash guard; the tab inserted snuggly. For those with smaller hands, the metal retaining clips can be inserted without removing additional screws of the felt fender-well.

jeezuz.. I was literally overthinking the install of this. I was trying to figure out how to install this without removing the tire AND drilling new hole. I guess it's inevitable. Awesome guide! Thank you!

Best detailed video of putting these on that I have seen. I ended up getting mine on before I saw this but didn’t get the 2 metal fasteners on because I didn’t really know to pull the fender well cover back on the front. I’ll have to go back and do that now. On the front for the push pin, the other videos I found they did have to drill it out to make it fit. I did as well and had to use a longer one I had for my house shutters to put back into the bottom seems to work fine Thx for the video!!!

Regarding the Push Pin: I just downloaded some instructions someone posted... and it says to drill out (over bore/make bigger) the push pin hole to 7 mm. 7 mm is 0.2756". Potential standard bit options would be 17/64 (0.2656) or 9/32 (0.2813). I believe a previous poster (onemileatatime) used a 5/16 (0.3125). Hope it helps. Update: completed my install today. Once I drilled THE PLASTIC TAB of the guard to 7mm (17/64) the push pin went right in with firm hand force only. No need to over bore the hole in the metal panel.

Eventually, I would like to find an exhaust system that sounds a lot better. I'll be doing some research into how the tip affects the sound too.

Great video, what size drill bit did you use for the screws? Instructions say 5mm but it looks like you’re using much smaller. Thanks!

Man thanks for doing this. I have a set, but was struggling with the poor instructions. What do you recommend for the push pin that was giving you a piece of heaven?

I tappered the end of the plug and trimmed about 1/16" off of it. Then I worked it in with various tools to get the right angle. The mud flap needed to be pushed all the way in, to be sure the holes aligned. I'm still not 100% happy with that one part, but it's staying in.

I’m putting electric steps on mine, i think it looks cleaner in my option, I’m scared 4 wheeling my tires might grab onto mud flap and damage my fenders!

I bet the electric steps will look great.

Stupid question.... Were you just drilling into plastic or sheet metal behind the plastic?
@dna1149

I was just drilling thru the plastic because the metal body behind the plastic already had holes in it exactly where they needed to be.
