This is the first time i have ever seen drag races like this😁😁😁. I like it. A lot!😁. I was a truck mechanic when i was a kid. Seeing this back then may have pointed my life in a different direction!
That black kenworth with the red frame and a single stack gets down! He has a lot of air and RPM going in that thing to get the stacks to clean up like that. impressive.
Production value on your videos has really gotten good. Thanks for covering this, still on my bucket list to attend. And I know I say this on all your videos, but damn it warms my heart to see LTLs still out there mixing it up. My all time favorite trucks
I thought I had seen it all. Just think all the green weenies crying over the burnt dinosaurs being expended into the atmosphere!!! Me? I love it!!! Murica!!
I'm surprised nobody's running boost controllers to hold the boost up in between shifts like they do in rally cars! As a truck driver I wish i could get off the lights like that loaded😂 at least once!
I done it once. Only once coming off a Off ramp from a small hill and it was absolutely dead in that town. So I wanted to try it. It feels crazy feeling the front of your rig twist under all that torque. If you ever get the chance go for it. At least once lol
From an Aussie, hey Brits, everytime Just Stop Oil protests infront you, get right back in their face with your phone playing this video & cheering on the trucks 😃 🤣😆
*goes for a physical* Damn son, how long have you been smokin', 20 years? Nah, went to watch some big rigs slow down the rotation of the Earth for a few hours.
I love well built and well engineered stuff and whilst its fun to watch and see the massive torque that lifts the front left wheel off the ground it seems almost criminal to abuse well made stuff. Just listening to those whistling turbos is something else.
I would be interested to see these on a road course lmfao, now that would be entertaining. Would love to see this in person, but something tells me it might trigger my asthma.
Mad. When big horsepower to pull a roadtrain with 3 or 4 trailers in Australia is getting up around 600 to 700 horsepower in recent years, you guys are in the thousands to play with at the dragstrip. Can't get my head around that sort of power and how the hell the drivetrain can withstand it either. Whet you up over 150 metric tonnes, you just damn careful not to break anything. Blows me away, awesome viewing though, unreal
Take a good look at those trucks. They're all veterans of the road. Each one has a story and each one served it's purpose to feed a family. You wanna know what's holding them together? The hands on the wheel.
Them big rigs move the world 🌎 and without them you can't buy One thing in a store of any kind or order online it all gets moved by rigs so get over it
I watched that part 20 times and I'm not sure but right before he hit the steep incline rpm rev went super high as if he might have sprayed some nose or something and she couldn't hold on and the bottom cut loose notice the change to grey / white smoke 🤔
Honest question: why do these trucks smoke that much? Are they running too rich? Could you tune them to have similar power outputs but with less smoke?
It's due to a unbelievable amount of fuel going through the motor. Not enough air to match. Could be limited by the intake manifold/ cylinder head and valves to. Simply more air than the motor can suck through it. Could be using excess fuel to help keep the cylinder temps down to/lubrication.
Of course theres got to be knowledge of wich gears to choose and knowing how to shift them, but at the end of the day isnt it just who puts the bigest turbo and sacrifice engine life?
