What I adore about the Hobonichi is how many different ways it can be used!! I love using mine as a study book vs a planner. I love the paper and the freebie pens. All the things.

I love Hobonichi because the paper is great for all pens and each book can suit different needs of its' owner. I have been using Hobonichis since 2017 and have all of the pens and freebies since then. This year, I went with just buying a Weeks locally because I have a goal to simplify my stash. However, watching unboxings is making me really miss buying direct! I use a Weeks mostly, even though I've use all the other books at some point. I always go back to the Weeks for my daily planning. I have an A6 5Year for memory keeping and I have enjoyed the Plain notebooks for journaling. I've loved all the different books at one point of another and that's what I like about Hobonichi, it grows with you and you can choose your planner based on what you need at various life stages.

I love how mindful I’ve become thanks to hobonichi. I bought my first one last year and I’ve been hooked ever since. They offer a great variety of sizes which is amazing because there is something for everyone I also just love the minimal aesthetic :)
My favorite thing about Hobonichi is it has everything I need in a planner slash journal. Dated and timed sections, large journaling section, dated customable trackers / indexes and also a very simple design that helps me focus on what I wanna do, however I wanna do it in the planner.
I love the paper of course and the hobonichi has everything I need in one planner which simplifies my life as a chronically ill person and having to keep teach on many many medication and appointments it makes it easier to not have to have to many places to look for my information! I love the weekly spread in the Cousin - I decided not to order for 2022 and man-o-man did I miss that spread. It really grounds me and kicks off each day jotting some notes each day in the vertical weekly spread.

I just discovered Hobonichi this year. I’ve tried rings did not stick to it. I have a weeks and cousins and I am organized! Work and home. Bills are on time sounds silly but true. I’m hooked.

I love that Hobonichi reminds me that every day can be special even though not much can happen. There can be little moments that mean a lot and I’ll forget them down the years, but because I wrote it today it will be remembered🥰
I just love how complete the hobonichi is for me, I have my plans and my journaling all in one place. This is the 1st year that I couldn't buy from Japan and I am so sad that I didn't get the pen and bag.
I look forward to waking up each morning, getting my coffee…. And sitting down with my Hobonichi journal. I document life… the good times, bad times, events. Every day matters. When I am an old woman I may no longer be able to write, paint and keep a journal. My memory may not be as sharp. I will have every one of these wonderful years of my life written into books…. I love the paper they use and the layout. For 2023 i have ordered the lagoon weeks mega and a dayfree A5. I really look forward to recieve my order. Even though I can first start using them in the New year, to be fair to my current weeks. 😅

The cousin has everything that I used to painfully set up in my bulletjournal every month. So when I discovered the Cousin I didn't need to set it up myself anymore. And down the rabbit hole I went! 😂

This will my 5th year to use the Hobonichi Weeks style. I tried the A6 Techo first and then figured out the style I liked setting up in the Weeks. I love TRP and hate to see it not be the same after next year.
For the weeks, you mentioned that you wanted to know what it says. If you have the Google translate app, you can use your phone camera to translate the page. You just open the app, press the camera button and hover it over the text you want to translate.
When I started planning I had no idea of what Hobonichi was, after many many youtube videos later, my first purchase was made. The paper is so thin so I can fit months weeks and days for the whole year in one book. The cousin is my idea of the perfect planner. Writing with fountainpens on the paper is just a perfect match. :) The fun way Hobonichi market their product makes you think more about cherishing every single day, flipping through the pages as time goes by is enjoyable and like my own little history. I love hobonichi because it used to make me force to remember daily events and record them down :) I haven't been using a hobo since 2019 the shipping is way too much after pandemic

I’m not sure what type of phone you use, but my brother has a non- Apple phone and he can take a picture of text in a different language and it translates it! I know that’s not super helpful (sorry!) but maybe there is an app similar too! Lovely video, I cannot wait to get my order! 💕
I have used a6 hobonichi avec's twice. Both were the latter part of the year and both were gifted to me. I failed miserably the first time around, but seem to be keeping up this time. Pretty much creative daily journaling. I love the paper, not so much the quotes. Might feel differently seeing them in English? It was too insanely expensive to buy from the hobonichi store and ship to the UK. Freaking Brexit...
For me, the hobonichi cousin avec has been my daily memory keeping journal. I love being able to look back at the last 2 years and seeing all the pages full of writings, stickers and ephemera. Not sure why, but I haven’t been able to stick to any other kind of journaling in the same way.
What I love about Hobonichi is all the different covers, and now English weeks and Cousin! I am getting my first tweed this year, along with I hope the logbook leather. I am a geographer and the use of maps as a liner I have fallen in love with. However, if I win please select someone else. I will have bags and pens coming out of my ears being the autistic collector I am. I wonder if one could switch out the blue part of the pen to the really dark blue of the 20th Anniversary midnight blue pen grip. I really hate the clashing colors of this years pen. I hope they do the original in English, and ditch the black English version. I would love to see either the Avec or Day Free sizes in both Cousin and A6 size also in English. A thinner book for me would be very appreciated. I really hate the layout is so different than the original A6 Hobonichi.

I'm so excited to see someone finally showing the Oatmeal cover!!! I'm actually going to be making my first ever Hobonichi purchase this year but am having trouble deciding between the Oatmeal set and the Cinnamon Apple (from the colors line). Would you have any suggestions??
