Your tip about using a paper to outline a drawer or shelf space before shopping for containers is so helpful! Also, your living room is shaping up nicely, and that green dress is a beautiful color on you!
Can’t wait to see the finished product on the living room. Your videos weren’t showing up for me so I watched 2 straight. It’s funny on a questionnaire thing recently my daughter and I both said our Bosch(mixer) is the one appliance we’d least want to part with!! So get a Bosch if you want to love working in the kitchen. Ha
I vote #4 on the curtains. I think that they match and bring out the style of the house. Poor baby with stomach flu bug...hope he flew out of your home! Loved hearing the story of the "doom and gloom lady" who ran into you at the store!
Curtin #5 and we are painting our basement and putting in trim and ceiling. And I'm going trough all my stuff. I am not a minimalist I am very practical so some stuff is going but plan to refurbish most of my things. Moving my children downstairs since I have 4 in 1 bedroom now. I am very excited to have our half finished basement complete.
I have been redoing my whole basement since the middle of November. It's completely separate living quarters. Now that I'm finally done, I need to just catch up on my life that I've been ignoring. Then I have several other projects looming including organizing my garage and rehabbing some dressers.
❤ Thanks so much for sharing this motivating video! So good to see Troy & Summer as well! Very glad she is feeling better!! Sending love & prayers 🥰🙏🏻❤️❌⭕️
I really enjoyed this video! I totally agree about the cute spice containers. If the container is too small then you still have to store the extra somewhere- therefore taking up MORE space! The living room looks wonderful!! I would choose curtain option #2.
We moved last Saturday so im saving stuff for a g sale this spring as i unpack. Totally agree i need to stop buying the cheap clothing i dont wear much and spend more on something I love and wear more!!! Love me a good deal but i dont always NEED it
#4 for curtains as it ties in with kitchen tile and will bring flow to the house Also, I purchased amazing peel & stick wallpaper for a great price (and such nice quality, from Brewster) on Etsy.
Loved watching your decluttering and organizing. I’m moving soon and need some inspiration. Love the paint job in your living area. It does brighten up. I liked all the curtains. Perhaps 4 and 6 are my favs.
Your living room looks great!! When we get back from Florida in a couple weeks I hope to declutter too!! I have dreams of a garage sale but it’s always easier to just donate.
Ok second comment lol. When you said you don't like baking and don't own an electric mixer, I lost it! I hate baking and I have my mixer away not long ago. My husband bought that mixer like 14 years ago and we only used it 4 or 5 times!! I was tired of dusting it! Needless to say my husband was not to happy that I gave it away. 😦
Hi Raquel I hear you , watching this video , what with Christmas and then a birthday two weeks later I want to reorganise majorly in my place , thanks for sharing this video , hope you had a joyous Christmas and new year missed you posting 😊
Could not agree more on wearing colors you look good in. I have the same skin tone and hair color as you, and some colors, especially dusty pink and beige, just aren’t for me. Disagree that your stove is the grossest;) Your living room looks stunning and I can’t wait to see you pull it all together! Vote for option 1 on the curtains!
@@RaquelWitmer I feel the best in deep colors, especially burgundy, navy, dark olive, deep emerald, and true black. Lighter colors I like are powder blue, dusty sage, and white.
Ok, I like #1 and #2 but I feel like Summer will pull the tassels off/chew them and maybe end up pulling them down as a result. So I also like #4 and #5. #4 looks a little heavier though, and #5 is a touch busy, but with the rest of your room being really simplified that might work well. NOOOOOOOO to wall paper! Everyone thinks they look good for a bit and then a few years down the road you realize that the wall paper hypnotized you into thinking that with its repeating designs and one day you accidentally bump your head and see it for what it is and you realize how it had deceived you all those years! Then by the time you go to take it off it decided to turn its "easy remove" adhesive into cement and then it mocks you until you paint over it or just demo the whole wall. (I may be a touch dramatic and i am coming to terms with that 😄. And your comment on your coffee of being "full of sugar and poison like I like it." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yay! Another video from you😊I look forward to each one ! It was so fun meeting you at the wedding last weekend! Just another stranger to you I guess😅 but to me it felt like I met an old friend or something. Would've been fun to talk more but I could see you were plenty busy already😉
I get the same feeling that you got at New Year's, stuff has got to go! Living in a house with 8 people means a lot of stuff. I keep a donation box handy for random things. Sorry y'all got sick. It's life and we deal with it.
I ate my breakfast and then folded my laundry while watching this. But also a small hack for the closet if you’re waiting to bite the bullet on all matching hangers…using the mismatched hangers you have, hang items on coordinating color hangers and then organize them in “rainbow” order within different categories…dresses, tops, sweaters, etc. Then when you put things away you can tell exactly which hanger it goes on. Your closet will stay more organized and it’s pleasing to the eye without spending anything.
