I took this car on a test drive a few days ago. I actually was at the dealership to test drive the CRV-EXL which I liked. I breaks by heart to say this but the Accord felt cheap. The seats had very little padding and the ride was lacklluster. I have had two Accords that have been fantastic. I guess that those days are over. The feel of the hybrid power plant was weird after being used to my 2007 Accord V6 EXL. I sounds liking i am bashing Honda but the differences were very noticable.
@@johnny.3693 I always considered a Honda to be a quality car and you could take that to the bank. This is really sad. I did really did like the CRV EXL with the traditional engine.though.
I saw this today for the first time on Facebook made a post about it and my friend who works for Honda dealership here in town said yeah that's why you never see me post about it and we don't like to talk about it but it has boosted 2022 sales a lot. Nobody wants this car.

The switch in the glovebox is the valet switch. If you turn the switch to off (and lock the glovebox) and hand the valet just the plastic fob and not the physical key inside he/she won’t be able to open the trunk using the button on the fob or the button inside the car near the hood release pull.

Honda really has to offer leather in the Sport model. I am sure they will in a year or two, but should have from the start and not even fool with cloth seats in the Sport model.
The CR-V is always 1 generation behind in Infotainment screen tech. The new screen is Google-based and is probably the quickest touchscreen interface I've used in any vehicle sold today. It's as quick as my flagship Samsung Galaxy phone. I was going to buy a CRV but ended up taking delivery of a Hybrid Touring Accord several days ago as the new screen had me sold.
2013 Accord EXL V6 sedan. Put in a VCM muzzler and some pilot sport all season fours. This new Accord can't touch it in the driving engagement department.
At this price point there shouldn't be cloth seats. I have the 10th gen Honda Accord Sport and even that has the leatherette with cloth inserts which I'm good with
