Looking to purchase a new car with an eco-friendly twist? In this video, we'll be comparing the 2023 Honda Accord Sport and the 2023 Honda Accord EX-L, both of which feature a brand new hybrid powertrain option.
First, we'll take a look at the exterior and interior design of each car. The Accord Sport has a sporty and athletic appearance, with a more aggressive front grille and unique 19-inch wheels. The interior features black cloth seats with red stitching, giving it a more energetic feel. On the other hand, the Accord EX-L has a more refined and luxurious look, with chrome accents and 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior features leather-trimmed seats and a more sophisticated dashboard design.
We'll also take a look at the technology and safety features of both cars. Both models come standard with Honda Sensing, which includes features like collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. The Accord EX-L also adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a heads-up display.
Finally, we'll talk about the price and value of each car. The Accord Sport hybrid starts at a lower price point than the EX-L hybrid, making it a great option for those on a budget who still want a more eco-friendly car. However, the EX-L hybrid offers more luxury features and a smoother ride, making it a better choice for those who want a more comfortable driving experience.
Overall, both the 2023 Honda Accord Sport hybrid and the 2023 Honda Accord EX-L hybrid are great options for anyone looking for a midsize sedan with a hybrid powertrain. Watch this video to see a side-by-side comparison of these two models and decide which one is the best fit for you and your lifestyle.

I got the EX-L mainly for the rear A/C, front and rear parking sensors, smaller rims for better mpg, and usb-c for rear passengers. Thanks for comparing them because not many reviewers are reviewing the EX-L trim. Most are doing the Sport & Touring trims mainly.

You're welcome! I personally think the EX-L might be the best value in the Accord lineup.

hey! Are you happy with your pick? Im thinking of buying one, but Im not sure which one. Thanks in advance!

@@cunumis1 also test drive it to make sure. A lot of people are commenting on the looks, but honestly drives better than the 10th generation. I didn’t go for the Prius since it has $5-10K markups in my area. I needed a bigger sedan and a Prius is a little too small for my needs.

EX-L all day long. Note to Honda: Console Vents in the rear should be a std feature across all of them IMO. 17" wheels give nicer ride and likely don't handle too differently from the 19s.

We agree. Rear HVAC vents should be standard across the board with a vehicle this size. The EX-L is a great choice!

I should’ve watched this video before purchasing Sports L, I would’ve saved $1k off MSRP get better gas mileage and all other goodies. Rims and spoiler can be added later easily, hard to put vents in back and parking sensors

No brainer... the EX-L. Better ride quality and better mpg with the 17" wheels. Curious if there would be any changes to the 2024 model?

The EX-L makes a ton of sense! We haven't heard anything about the 2024 yet.

Great video. I am deciding between the touring and exl. I wish the exl could have a 17 inch wheel choice.

I feel that, it truly is a tough call. If extra benefits such as ventilated seats, upgraded Bose audio, wireless charger matters to you, the Touring is certainly worth the extra money. Thanks for watching!

But is the hybrid the same performance/drive as the conventional?
@c.harperautogroup
@c.harperautogroup 11 месяцев назад
Yes, more or less. They drive very similarly to a conventional gas powertrain. The benefits include better fuel economy and power, especially if you do a lot of stop and go driving.

The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio. If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one.
@c.harperautogroup
@c.harperautogroup 11 месяцев назад
Yep totally get your point. Not everyone is looking for those features but if you are there might be more suitable choices out there.
@9546aw
@9546aw 10 месяцев назад
The biggest problem as I see it is the lack of a spare tire. I had a 2009 CTS with no spare, just an electric Air pump and a can of what seemed to be shaving cream. I was left stranded several times. Also the solution for no XM Radio is convoluted and ridiculous.. The bottom line for me: I will keep my current car until the wheels fall off in 10 or 15 years.
