What do you guys think about the New Pioneer CREW? ...and most importantly, what do you guys think Honda NEEDS to CHANGE on it, to make it that much better? Never drove the old 1000 but coming from a 2021 700-4 Honda owner....this unit is hands above better and night and day smoother and as quiet as a church mouse licking lard. It's a dang nice machine that will work. The ghost gear that the 700 doesn't have is a real dealbreaker if you're a guy who wants to get back home after a hunt or work on the fence line. It's a "grandma" special perfect for toting the toddlers around the ranch to look at the moo cows, but it's just not a racehorse but at least it's not a mule or a gator. It's a nice cut above. This new Honda 1000 is just out of the solar system better than what I've experienced on the 700-4. Nice job Honda! You did your homework on this one!

lol appreciate ya man! And you hit the nail on the head, all hail the algorithm! Sometimes it's spot on but the majority of the time, I get the same recommendations from clickbait stuff that I never watch. It's enough to drive you crazy at times when trying to make a living on this platform but hey, if it was easy then everyone would be doing it I guess. Just gotta "keep swimming" as a little blue fish once said lol and keep grinding away as failure isn't an option, even though it's closer than I'd like for it to be right now. Oh and almost forgot, here's that 🏆 lol. Thanks again for the support ;)

These will be on ranches & farms all over. Honda reliability will carry it even if it isn’t “best in class”.

Yessir! You hit the nail on the head there, even if it's not the "best in class" when it comes to certain features etc - the reliability behind it will make people that actually use these machines day in and day out, give up a feature here and there when they know it'll last. Which is why Honda's ATV lineup, despite being a little anemic in the horsepower and feature department when compared against other brands, still sell so well.

@@HondaProKevin You don’t buy a Honda to have fastest machine, you buy it because simple maintenance and it will run forever. Great investments if you ask me. They will get you to were you want and home again and will do it time and time again.

Great video Kevin. Question for you, can the rear roll cage be removed without sacrificing? Structural rigidity? I’m thinking of like the Can-Am defender, pro and how it’s configured.

Did Honda put any "soft touch points" in the newer Pioneers (like Yamaha puts in their RMAX)?

Nah, sadly the only "soft touch points" you'll find in the Pioneer are its seats lol. While you don't have a center console in the Honda to bang your knee off of like the Yamaha RMAX to where it'd be beneficial, it sure wouldn't hurt for Honda to throw some soft areas up against the door as that's where my leg / knee usually rests. When it comes to interior creature comforts for long trail rides, Honda could definitely put a little more in there but for work use - I wouldn't knock the interior too much, aside from the points I made in the video but that's just me ;)
