Lovely vid as always, but whenever I see you opening one of these up, I say to myself I need to show you the proper no crease way of opening them. ❤

Haha like the outer white boxes? Do you take something and put it on the side of the flap to pop open?

@@64Wheels pretty much, I stick something like a toothpick or a small knife or ruler and pop the flap on one corner without creasing, then the other you can just pull with your hand.

Excellent review 64Wheels and I agree with you on the colour choices for these RLCs. There's an upcoming Porsche in some ugly green, however I passed on this one. I got the mainline at the start of the year and the Elite 64 so felt this was unnecessary. You are spot on with the pricing - some of these are nonsensical vs. other HW releases but these things are selling out so there will be no changes. I think as consumers we just have to pick and choose.

How would compare against the more detailed elite64 Mercedes? That casting has headlights

I think the elite cars are better than the RLC in terms of detail and design. Elite seem to be made more of with diecast collectors in mind rather the RLC is for mainly HWs collectors bc of the spectraflame

Is it worth to pay 75$? I only found it at this price or higher(I'm from Europe). Or should I get the Mercedes 500K by Maisto? Thank you!

IMO the HWs car is not worth $75. It’s a great model, but there’s a lot more on the market that is better detailed and better quality for the $75. The 1/18 Maisto car would probably be the better buy price wise, and it’s probably more affordable too. I have a few of the Maisto 1/18 cars and they seem to be pretty nice.

@@64WheelsThank you so much! The maisto one is also around 75$ in my country and it would be my Christmas gift. I've looked around for a long tine and i liked these two models best. I love the rlc's color, but I think i will get the maisto despite being the same price. What do You think? It would be my first smol car:)

@eatthis6227 it’s really whichever one you think you’d like more - they are very different cars in different scales, so it’s hard to compare one to the other exactly. That being said, the 1/18 is a more impressive display piece and has more parts/more car for the price. The HWs is nice, but the wheels and interior are lacking detail. The 1/18 has multiple moving parts and lots more detail too. Getting a nice $20 acrylic display box for the 1/18 would be something you could do to make that car display better in the future too.

No this Mercedes release isn’t numbered sadly. Almost all the RLC releases this year haven’t been numbered

It’s a Hot Wheels RLC car so it was only available through the RLC website but has since sold out. So eBay or another secondary seller is where to find it
