I bought the MC4. The battery mount is a complete failure. On challenging descents, the battery holder tears and the battery breaks through the ground. poor performance
Sorry to hear that! I have seen, close up, the same thing on a Trek Rail where the battery popped out every now and then. But that was only on one bike, other Rails I've tested were just fine. Are you sure that this isn't just something that's wrong with your particular bike? Something that can be fixed under warranty? I mean if the battery keeps falling out on all MC bikes it would be noticed in all emtb forums, right?
@@MTBs it's brand new.. i brought it back after the first ride. The frame has to be completely redesigned, the battery needs a support surface.. that never stops when you go down a flight of stairs, gravity pulls it out immediately.
