The 2023 Kona N Line Ultimate comes with leather seats and a few other features (ex. heads up display, etc) that make it better than this model. Personally, after months of looking, no other company gives you as much bang for your buck! I loved the Kona N Line when I test drove it and it will be a nice upgrade from my 2008 tucson. I ordered my 2023 Kona N Line Ultimate in red and cannot wait to get it in the spring!

Nice review. Have a 2022 N Line and love it! Fun to drive. Wouldn't say it's fast, but it is pretty quick. The DCT transmission is ready to go. Wish there were soft touch materials, but that doesn't bother me too much. Of all the sub-compact SUV's, the Hyundai N-Line is definitely the sportiest of the bunch.
Do you mean the DCT shifts quickly or that the DCT needs to be replaced? I have the regular 23 Kona and the generic all trim levels manual it came with mentioned a ton of warnings for the DCT overheating. Just curious to hear your thoughts on it
This makes me question Hondas decision to only offer the somewhat anemic 2.0. Zippy is how I would describe the Kona. That translates into fun. I have noticed quite a few Konas on the road. Obviously people like them.
They are becoming more popular, this same vehicle with this color I have seen 2-3 in the last week. I agree Sam they are fun to drive, I like the HR-V but it’s a lot longer and this feels quicker going in and out of lanes.
It shifted quick, one thing to point out, the shifting can have some jerks when down shifting. It is a dual clutch so driving isn’t going to be the same as a std automatic. If you haven’t driven a DCT it may take sometime to get used to but the shifting is around 8 milliseconds compared to about .5 seconds when a person changes gears in a manual. This is what helps getting quicker 0-60 speed over a traditional automatic transmission.
Did the new models get the proper anti theft protection? Also are insurance companies slaying drivers of these like they are for the older model Hyundai’s and kia’s?
@@HawkeyeRides i just read its 3 months in and still ongoing BUT dealers can sell them. if the recall causes injury to the owner the dealer may be held accountable or they can sell the cars back to hyundai
I recently purchased this car, it’s nothing special really. Just a good daily drive, sport mode adds a bit of kick but nothing to race your neighbour with.
