In this walkaround, Aaron looks at the 2023 Santa Fe, which comes in both gasoline and hybrid options. There's a lot of things that make this one unique and the cargo area is a prime example of that. www.DriveModeSh...
You don't need to lose that cargo space for a spare tire. You can mount a spare underneath. If it didn't come with a spare it won't have the appropriate tire hoist but you can buy them after-market. The space for the tire, as well as the mounting points for the hoist are all there even on the hybrid models.
Great presentation. I discovered something in the cargo area. If you remove the foldable cover , you can see the 3 compartment area. This plastic divider can be lifted up and removed. You will have a large space for a big piece of furniture or large suitcases.
There is room for a full size matching spare tire and wheel if it is installed without air in it. I carry a cordless MILWAUKEE air compressor in the car. The wheel was purchased from Ebay used, a matching tire was put on it.
We didn't overlook either! Traded the wife's 10 year old minivan for a 2023 Santa Fe Limited FWD Turbo. It was a dealer loaner, so it has all the bells and whistles. She loves it! I've been told I'll be able to drive it one day. 🤣
I imagine they started to the left so as they prepped for the stunt they had auto traffic using the right lane or two for moving traffic thru until they closed the road and tunnels for the actual stunt
