2023 Indian FTR carbon ride and review 

Before getting my Harley, I gave the FTR a strong look. I still wouldn’t mind having one!

It’s a shame the government requires OEM to have the rear tag mounted past the rear tire. That was one of the first mod I did.

Absolutely love my 2023 FTR Sport!!! Honestly, picked that one over the Carbon. I think it identifies as a unicycle most days... 😁😁 Only complaint is that they welded on the cat this year!! Makes it a pain in the ass to de-cat and pipe.

Scrub through the video at 16:01, what's that notification? Shift to 1. Does it not like to rev without a gear or just reminding you to shift into gears?

I wish they have listened about the clutch as well. Lots of reviewers are mentioning that. But similar issues to GS 1200 etc as well.

Get a tune and Sawicki Speed slip on and you'll be able to wheelie in the first 3 gears all day!!!

7:50 well it is a flat track racing bike, thats also what the ftr stands for.

Why is the license plate so close to the back wheel

frame needs to be red. its to bland/grey scale my brother works at a dealer, they got one there, i was looking, but the color scheme is so bland. the exhaust is huge and grey as well...its just to much grey and no pop. red frame, red shock spring, couple other simple color choices easily fix that. even on the Sport model the bike would look better with red frame. the bike itself is great. i love them, little bit heavy...but Indian does a great job hiding that weight. only thing i would ding it for would be the range...its not quite far enough. The thing is comfortable enough you can drive it for a day pretty easy, but all my homies drive baggers and stuff so if i actually buy it then i am "that guy" in the group who has to stop and fill up all the time. but next year if the color schemes are better I think i might pull the trigger.
