2023 Jackson State University Baby Boom Band Camp - Day 2 🔥 

I am in my office dang tearing up. The days and hours spent perfecting all of this as a former member of the Sonic Boom of the South, triggers so many great memories.

Dang! Why didn’t we think of Boom camp for high schoolers when our directors were so strapped for recruiting funds for in the yester years. What a fabulous endeavor! Talk about tearing up-I had a chance to spend time with Masters Harold Haughton, Dowell Taylor and James Holden in one day. They set the standard. The Boom just gets better and better!

I know as a band parent, that if I was there with the BOOM for 1 week, I would definitely drop these last 10 pounds. 😂They are putting in the work!!!! Luv da Boom! 💙

Nothing is more positive than seeing our young teens attending band camp at JSU, as well as other HBCU band camp programs. Let's go future JSU Sonic Boomers. You guys look awesome. #LuvTheeBoom
