@@SkyTalayi-kx5tq just bought mine 2 days ago, has EVERYTHINGm full length moonroof, heated seats and steering wheel, built in Nav, CARplay, backup cam, literally everything, walked out the door at 25k, most dealerships are selling the 2023 version right now at 25% off.
I live in MT and know exactly what you mean. If you don't know, find a nice Nat Forest and/or well maintained but lightly traveled road that goes up and put it in Sand Mode. It's like a completely different beast. I've turned lots of people locally onto this unknown capability. It's like an Easter Egg...
Meanwhile escapes are part of class action suits because of the crappy engine design especially the 1.5 and 2.0s. My wife had an escape and they had to replace the engine 3 times and finally bought it back via lemon law.
I have a 2023 and paid nowhere near $40k. It's smaller than my old Patriot, but has tons more ZIP, gets really good mileage and so far I'm totally happy with it.
My 2015 Trailhawk has been stellar in terms of reliability and I use all the off-pavement capability it's got on Forest Service and BLM trails on a regular basis.
@@BoopSnoot Good for them. My 2015 Trailhawk has been trouble free for 136,000 miles. Aside from a little minor "pinstriping" from running trails, it still looks and functions like it did when new. Nothing has broken or stopped working yet. It has, in fact been one of the most trouble-free vehicles I've ever owned.
Have a 2020 trailhawk. Love it. Off road w it, have a family of 4, 2 in boosters. Fits all of us. Great in snow. Got cause i hate the new tech. I paid to get less technical....i was considering the subaru forester but did not wat a camera in my face at all times. I get 8.5l/100km combined i live in the countryside.
@@eshuorishas9987 It's not made for Moab, but anything less it will do surprisingly well, but get rid of the OEM tires as fast as you can afford to, or trick out your trailhawk and go Moab.
2018 2.4 L paid $24K only problem we're having is the passenger window travels up too high and tears up the trim pieces. Dealer worked on it under warranty still not fixed. It goes up about 1/4" higher than the driver window. Other than that like it nice ride. 4WD but never use it.
When I heard the word "Fiat," that's all I needed to hear. Fiat left the US years ago because of a poor reputation for quality. Reminds me of the French Renault story. A friend bought a new Renault Fuego early 1980s. Quite a surprise to him when the shift lever came off in his hand while he was shifting gears. Comical.
I got a 2022 'S' model with 10k miles for 22k in Europe, fully loaded, 19 inch wheels, glass roof, leather, full hid led front and back, full navigation and sound system is a full package model in Europe, keyless entry , 1.3 Turbo, and all special driving assistants
I loved my renegade, my husband just traded it in for a Grand Cherokee, so I can match his but I am soooooo upset because as a girl who lovee outdoors I will miss her ths summer. 😢 #JeepFamily
I get you on the price point but this suv and the one you have serve totally different purposes. The renegade trail hawk that you showed is meant to go off road into some pretty difficult terrain. The same can’t be said for your escape titanium so if your into going off the beaten path the renegade is gonna give you far more value and capability.
@@willb9259 Its not just a badge though. They redesigned the front bumper for better approach, lowered the gearing, lifted the suspension, waterproofed electrical, added skid plates and recovery points. Only thing it really needs are better tires. My Wrangler will always be the superior off roader but im sure as hell not driving that to work everyday :)
$16.5K x 2.5 = $38.9K The $16.5K is what I paid for my brand new 2017 Renegade in Dec. 2017. The 2.5 mulitplier means that I could have bought 2-1/2 Regegades back then for the $38.9K price of one now. Granted, compared to the TRAIL HAWK in the video, mine is only a SPORT, but it with the lighter 4x2 setup and the 6speed manual/1.4 turbo engine combo, it's a bunch more fun to drive on the road. Plus, mine is very well-equipped and still runs like a top with 100K miles on it. Have only replaced the stablilizer links thus far and that was fairly inexpensive. On the flipside, with the inventory so high right now, i suspect you could get a Renegade waaay below sticker price just like I did. For what I paid, I couldn't be happier.
