The very first pure kicker inducted into the *Pro Football Hall of Fame* was _Kansas City Chief_ *Jan Stenerud.* Kansas City's current kicker *Harrison Butker* has already made more long and more clutch kicks than their HoF kicker.
I agree with this being the toughest path to win the Super Bowl. Considering the WR struggling and their offence, led the league in drop passes and a lot of penalty, their defence is what kept them so dominate. They held the Dolphins to 7 points the whole game, didn't allowed the Bills to score in the fourth quarter and hold the best team in AFC of the Ravens to 10 points. Mahomes has proven why he is the best QB in the NFL right now. He show up in the big moments when he can.
I laugh at anybody that say these games are rigged or scripted! This was easily the Chiefs toughest path to the Super Bowl. Had to win two tough road games against two good teams the Bills and Ravens. The Dolphins game was a freebie. The Niners game was a tough one. Mahomes proved even in an off year that he is still the best quarterback in the league! The gap between Mahomes and everyone else just got WiDER! The gap between the Chiefs and everybody else got wider too. 3 rings in 5 years. The Chiefs are officially an NFL dynasty.
Sneed, Jones, Edwards, McDuffie, Tranquill, Bolton, Reid, Omenihu, Nnadi, Gay, Karlaftis, Chenal. The elite of that lineup are Sneed, McDuffie, and Jones. The rest are just flat out studs. This is one of the best defenses ever. Wow.
@jarodmorris611 True. And it does tell you how long it's been since the Chiefs had a great defense. The Chiefs defense during the other two superbowl runs, three if you want to include the one they lost, were just good enough to get by.
with all the hypes around Mahomes, I think he is an underrated leader. I don't think people realize that other than a generational talent, he is also a tremendous leader for that team.
Butker is the MVP if you ask me. I think he only missed like what..2 maybe 3 FG's all year long!? We dont talk about how valuable a great kicker is. Mahomes gets us down there, we cant get it in the endzone and Butker gives us the lead....in these playoffs. Dudes a beast and I loved his commencement speech and the message that it spread. If you guys saw that speech and know what i'm talking about. Get married and have children repopulate the earth.
As a true, born-and-raised chief in KC, we’ve suffered so much. But honestly, I was happy after last year and 2019. But this year’s playoffs were a different dilemma. I just witnessed the best player in NFL history, possibly ever. You cannot predict him. He has that ‘inevitable’ feeling. The guy ‘feels’ the game from beneath, like the matrix.
Its definitely going to be hard to 3pete but if they get 1 wr I think they can do it,depending if everyone stays for the 2024 season,if not announcers will disrespect them again and Chiefs will 3pete,I cant wait,I hope they go undefeated next year and just blow through the competition, especially when they play the Raiders again,I hope they stomp the shiyt out of the Faiders
Rite, Their #1 pursuit should be to obtain a quality wie received _and a quality backup quarterback..it's inevitable that Mahomes will down go down sooner or later, due to wreckless style. .@@rodgermiller8980
Going through a high powered offense in arctic weather. Going through the hottest team in the league. Going through the team with the best record in the league. And going through one of the most stacked teams in NFL history. Maybe the best Super Bowl run of all time. Maybe second best but still it was absolutely insane to watch.
3 seconds left from the 3 yard line won by 3 points won his 3rd superbowl his 3rd sbmvp threw for 333 yards at Allegiant stadium located at 3333 Al Davis Way. WUT WUT?😮 There’s something super natural at play no way that happened by coincidence. Go back and watch the last 2 minutes of the bills game. Look at Tyler bass kick at how unnatural it curves wide right. I’ve seen soccer balls hook that drastically but never a football.
@@oneg1970dude,he barely made the 2 before that, and you could see the flags on the uprights blowing right, why wouldnt he kick left and play the wind??he missed 2 the week before that to with no wind, there is no point at all trying to tell us its rigged or try any conspiracy theories bc theyve been debunked by everyone, but it is weird all the 3's,I think it's all just coincidence
@@jakeusaf9401 He’s been in the league a 1/4 of the time Brady was in it and has already caught and passed Brady year for year. So there’s that. If he pulls off the 3 peat I don’t think he needs to get 7 SBs to “catch” legacy wise. Imo.
Against the toughest-ever playoff schedule in NFL history, featuring 3 top-4 defenses (the Chiefs being the other) and 4 top-6 offenses, as well as the top 4 MVP vote-getters, this is what the Chiefs did: Defense - Allowed 63 total points (15.8/game) - Allowed just 1,350 total yards of offense on 274 plays (4.93 yards/play) - Allowed a combined passer rating of 77.8 against 4 of the league's best quarterbacks (not counting the trick play by Jennings in the Super Bowl) - Allowed a combined 36.1% 3rd and 4th down conversion rate - Recorded 7 sacks, 6 turnovers, and 8 batted passes Offense - Mahomes: 104/149 (69.8 comp%), 1,051 yards, 6 TDs, 1 INT, 100.3 rating, 5 sacks, 7.19 ANY/A, 23 rush, 141 yards (6.1/carry); 2 fourth-quarter comebacks, 2 game-winning drives, Super Bowl MVP - Kelce: 37 targets, 32 rec (86.5 catch%), 355 yards (11.1/rec), 3 TDs, 1 rush, 5 yards (5.0/carry); broke Jerry Rice's career postseason receptions record - Pacheco: 81 rush, 313 yards (3.9/carry), 3 TDs, 12 targets, 12 rec, 60 yards (5.0/rec), 1 fumble lost - Rice: 33 targets, 26 rec (78.8 catch%), 262 yards (10.1/rec), 1 TD, 2 rush, 5 yards (2.5/carry) Special teams - Butker: 8/8 extra points, 11/11 field goals incl. 2/2 from 50+; tied Adam Vinatieri's record for most 50-yard postseason field goals, broke the record for field goals in a single postseason, set the record for longest field goal in Super Bowl history - Townsend: 15 punts, 715 yards (47.7 yards/punt), 4 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line - Muffed punt recovery set up the Chiefs' first touchdown of the Super Bowl - Blocked extra-point attempt kept the 49ers' lead at 3 late in the Super Bowl
They faced both 1 seeds, the 2 seed, and an 11 win 6 seed. That’s a tough path. That also includes facing the #1 defense, the #1 offense, the mvp, and 4 mvp finalists
Man imagine being a 300 pound lineman running downfield after the Rashee rice catch and hitting full speed the pile to push it forward. Has to be an amazing feeling of strength and testosterone. This is coming from a runner so I would love to know what that feels like one day
It’s been awesome as a lifelong chiefs fan to see the core and coaching staff stay United and teach the young bucks the way to be their best and win. The first Super Bowl win was the season I was born and to get these 3 again is awesome. Mahomes gets better every year!!
Love the video, you did a great job editing this seasons playoff run. I was looking forward to this after the excellent videos you did for the previous two super bowl winning postseasons.
They took out the 3 top 6 offense teams not to mention with no weapons but travis....defense was insane steve spaggs game plans were awesome hopefully mike evans and t higgins can come to a deal
I love this team they are so amazing to watch you know no matter I’m a huge chief fan and I’ve counted them out myself, but I’ll never count them out again it’s a great video ending to a terrific season. Thanks.
No doubt, imma huge Chiefs fan and after that Raiders game I also counted them out, until that Bengals game when they didnt punt 1 time,I was like well maybe we got something going here, then they went 17 straight drives and scored on every drive, after that I knew something pissed them off,and I'm pretty sure it was that Raiders loss that pissed them off,bc they were a whole different team in the playoffs,I dont think anyone but Chiefs fans knew at that moment they were NOT going to be denied
ANOTHER BACK TO BACK SUPER BOWL RUN FOR KANSAS CITY BACK TO BACK SUPER BOWLS IN A ROW 4 SUPER BOWLS TITLES 1970 2020 LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR 4 IN A ROW WON A PARADE AND THAT,S THAT OFFSEASON CONTINUES FOR THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPS
The thing I noticed in today's NFL is the defenders are more focused to strip the ball rather than tackle the runner, the offensive player gets two to four extra yards and closer to a first down and the drive continues. they need to get back to the fundamentals of the game and not try to be a hero, that's how you lose.
The 2023 Chiefs championship run reminds me of Real Madrid 2022 UCL campaign! No one had us as favorites, we had to eliminate top contending clubs in the knockout stage, we we're so close of being eliminated and in the Finals it was anyone's game! In the end Real Madrid came out victorious! 14x!!!! 🤍🏆
the chief's had a better post-season than they had a regular season. which makes their superbowl win all that much more special. they were good enough they didn't need a first round bye or home field advantage to win in the playoffs. just a magical post season.
Rice is gonna be a stud in the next few years. As soon as he learns to shake defenders and get open down the field, his productivity will go up exponentially. He can win contested catches, he needs to learn to burn the corners.
If I had a nickle for every time a chiefs player almost ran into a cameraman in the superbowl, I'd have 2 nickles. Which isnt alot but its weird that it happened twice.
If Shanahan is fired he will be able to seek a role in next Trinita's film as a naughty cowboy. 😊 I apologize for my stupid joke, Shanahan is really unlucky, he has Lost 1 SB vs Brady and 2 SB vs Mahomes.
Watching these highlights back makes me appreciate my KC CHIEF'S run this year you can see why Mahomes is who he is and how the team came together to get the Championship KC IS THE TOWN ALL AROUND THE GLOBE
I’m going to be the devil’s advocate here… The only reason that the Chiefs ended up in the Super Bowl is because other people made massive mistakes. And several of our games were basically Butker Bowls. It’s a good lineup but it’s not gonna work next year. We can’t have our field goal kicker winning 30% of the points.
I don’t know if 49ers talked about the possibility of that fake motion screen pass before that play but they should’ve known that was coming..it’s wasn’t a slow gradual motion the receiver sprinted in motion , that should’ve given it away.
Feb 2020 SB: KC beats SF Feb 2021 SB: KC loses to TB Feb 2022 SB: No KC Feb 2023 SB: KC beats PHI Feb 2024 SB: KC beats SF AGAIN That's 4 Super Bowl appearances in 4 calendar years. KC has Mahomes for at least 7 more seasons WOW!
