Hey all! Today we’re diving into the KRX 1000 4 seater. This one happens to be the Special Edition Electronic Suspension model. Let’s take a closer look at this amazing UTV and see what makes this unit so unique.
Gonna buy my first side by side, going to wait for the 2024 model hopefully i dont regretwaiting until 2025 i feel like side by sides are about to step up their game
Ride height, no. Ride comfort yes. The electronic suspension in these units, as well as motorcycles, is designed to adjust the suspension for overall ride comfort. Although softening the suspension CAN at times lower the ride height, that is not the intended purpose behind the adjustable suspension. Hope this helps! :)
Is it better than razor or can-am suspension? That’s what we want to know. We all know can am and Polaris own the sport sxs market how does it compare to those??
That’s an open question. A RZR XP doesn’t come with Fox Live Valve Shocks. Let alone FOX shocks period. RZR comes with walker evans. So if you’re asking me if the suspension on the KRX is better than the RZR? Then yes. The KRX has a MUCH better suspension. Even a base model KRX comes with FOX shocks. The KRX ES simply features the Fox Live valve which is electronically adjustable on the fly. You have to bump up to a RZR PRO XP Dynamix to even get the Fox Live Valve.
Now… If you take THIS same suspension and stack it up with the RZR PRO XP Dynamix, it’s VERY comparable. The PRO XP Dynamix and the KRX FOX LIVE VALVE share the same internal valving. They both have more internal valving and orfaces than what the Talon Fox Live valve features. In terms of Can-Am - no offense - I’ve driven them and I’m not a fan. Not bashing them whatsoever…I’m just not a can-am fan.
@@benattwiggcycles awesome thank you 🙏. I had a 21 can-am 200hp sold it and regretted it. IMO they sound better than the rest, and suspension is ok but kind of weak. The seating position and turning radius is not good at all. I’m really digging the way these krx look and if the price is right I want to buy one. Thanks for the review.
@@jrobles1019 sure thing! Thank you as well. If you get the chance to, ask your dealer to drive one around the lot. You’d be surprised how sharp the turning radius is on these and how good the suspension is. Pretty torquey motor in them as well. 👍🏼👍🏼
@@kevinm2404 probably a little of both but it was said when they first came out it was to cut cost I don't believe the weights going to be that much difference
The cvt is garbage and super loud. It feels like it runs itself to death putting around on the road or a field. Vibration really bad. It’s good on the trails though. But anything other than trails it’s obnoxious. I won’t get one for myself unless it’s a manual or atleast automatic. Cvt is not the way to go on these imo
