I love my 2023 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT. I'm a Disabled American Veteran, I had a custom, high quality, bolt on trike kit installed. I also added a Studded Windshield Bag, a USB charger, cellphone holder, GoPro mount, Engine Crash Bars & Highway Pegs.

Do you recommend it for a first time buying a motorcycle ? I’m new to this , but I’m still looking for a good reliable motorcycle!! I was Looking at Yamaha V star or Harley Davidson or Kawasaki this in video? Because I want but a motorcycle and I don’t want to give me a lot problems with the bike

@@vinnievinnie5800 This would be a great bike for a new rider. I started on a V Star 950 myself about 15 years ago. I think the Vulcan is a little better built though and a little smoother. Kawasaki just doesn't make bad bikes, at all. Can't go wrong with one. I know people who do cross country trips on these 900's. Plenty of power to do absolutely anything, but not overwhelming power for a newer rider to lose control of. Side note: As far as first time bikes, for cruiser, this is the perfect starting point. For sport style bikes, look for the ones named "650"(not 600) or "700".

How is it 2024 and Kawasaki still hasn’t given this bike ABS, electronic cruise control, and a sixth gear? I mean c’mon, Kawasaki! If they’d do just those 3 things and kept the price where it’s at they’d probably sell a crap load! I’d buy one in a heartbeat! But i refuse to buy a bike in 2024 not at least equipped with ABS.

Many people, including myself, don't want a bike with assistance from the ecu at all, I know that I am not alone on wanting full control without any babysitting from equipment, so maybe they are aware of who is potentially buying this, or they are just saving money by not adding those things.

If only Kawasaki would listen to all of the minor basic complaints of its riders and owners and just correct them all, then this bike would be too good to be true, of course , if Kawasaki did correct the minor issues it has. The price would go up a bit. But it would still be worth it to buy and own and ride and keep.👌🏻Just saying………😏✌️

Would Never buy another Bike without Saddle Bags... It's (Not) a Highway Bike, even though it looks like one. If Kawasaki would up-grade it with a 6 speed transmission, It might be ok for prolonged Highway use, but doesn't look like Kawasaki is in any hurry to do that.

Nice review, that black and grey paint job looks great! Only downside for me, I know it's part of the classic looks, but I wish it didn't have spoked wheels, hard to plug a tubed tire on the side of the road. But I do prefer that front tire size over the Custom, which is also a great looking bike. Thanks for these reviews. I owned a 650 Ninja in the past and never had any issues with it

The Harley was getting too heavy. After much research I decided on this bike. It is a good overall bike. I really like it. My only issue is that after over a decade of manufacturing this same model why haven’t they equipped it with a six speed transmission. That and locking bags and ABS and you’d have a near perfect midsized tourer.

I am only 5'4" but I have sat on one & I can flat foot the bike with ease. I currently have an Indian Scout ABS to which I have added touring accessories but am definitely ready to move up to a larger bike with longer range and I absolutely am loving the Vulcan LT. The one thing I do not like is the inability to lock the saddlebags. I carry a tool kit and an air compressor all the time. I would love to believe thieves wouldn't mess with the ride but I know better so not being able to lock the bags is an issue; I don't see it as keeping me from purchasing the bike but it is concerning.

I love my 2014 Classic LT. I do take issue with your opinion of the seat though. It's nice and cushy in the showroom but after one hour of riding it's very uncomfortable. That's why I and many other owners make an aftermarket seat the first mod. Other mods I have done are drilling ahead of the top windshield bracket to bring it back in line with the forks and adding fork lowers to eliminate helmet buffeting. Also the horn is embarrassing so I went with something more robust. Since I am about the same height as you I found the handlebars to be a bit low for me so I went with four inch pullback risers. It made a world of difference and made the ride position much more comfortable. And don't get me started on the oil sight glass position. I found an extendable mirror solves that and is a permanent part of my tool kit. It's a great bike for secondary road touring which is my preferred way to ride. Being on the wrong side of 70 with the usual age related wear and tear troubles, I don't want a heavier cruiser so this bike is perfect for me. It's easy to wrench, inexpensive to maintain and insure, and fun to ride. Thanks for the review.

It is a good touring bike “for the rest of us” that don’t want or need a 2 wheeled mini van. It is comfortable, fast enough, and reliable. The only downsides are the brakes are marginal when loaded up, the bags are kind of small, and the seat is awful after a couple of hours. It is a lay back bike for lay back trips.

I can let go of the bike not having a 6th gear, but for a cruiser to go mid-to-long distance, cruise control would be a great addition. I wouldn't mind paying an extra 1K for that.
@PeterLoweOne
@PeterLoweOne Год назад
Yeah, modern electronic cruise control involves a little more intervention than some people realize. It gets pricey to add it as you need to rework engine control systems and add things like electronic throttle valves. I think if they tweak this for the future, that's something they should consider. A simple throttle lock may be a solution for now.

And that Classic look its just beautiful spoke wheels, chrome, windshield and simple speedometer dashboard. And you have enough power with 5.speed, you have to just let bike rev high RPMs and change gears on maxed acceleration. Like - 5 gear you you shift in 70 miles per our. How much or how little of a ‘touring’ bike is this? I know technically it’s a ‘cruiser’ but living in SE Washington (Walla Walla) and wanting to drive it maybe to Boise or SLC would this be appropriate or is this more of a ‘stay a 100 miles around your town and drive under 70’ kind of bike. I absolutely would love having a bike like this to cruise around town but want something that I can take on some distance trips for long weekends.
