Also look into installing the NGK Laser Iridium LKAR8AI-9 spark plug. The factory one is a cheap platinum one made in India. I bought one from revzilla and it was $20 and you have to take the tank off. 🤙🏼
Nice video. I’m curious how the supplier for the fuel x is and will be. I’ve read where there were some issues. Also curious about what your opinion is of the performance increase or broad broader spread of power. Good common sensor approach of your methods. 😊👍
My experience with them was very good, the first unit i received wasn't functioning properly so they sent me a new one with no hassles. If you get one do not use a third party distributor i think it will void the warranty and you may not get the same treatment. Performance is very good !! the bike comes alive and runs very strong everywhere in the rev range. It is money well spent
Nice video. Such clear explanation. I'm wondering if you can tell me whether installing this voids your warranty? Btw, I installed a Rapid Bike Easy on my 2017 Duke 390. It solved the same problems you discuss in your FuelX Pro review video the same way. Better fuel supply to the engine.
That is a good question ? I don't believe installing a fuel optimizer voids the warranty but i'm not 100% certain. Maybe a call to your dealer before installing to be sure. I cant imagine riding this bike extensively without one though. :)
It is not stock , you can watch some of my past videos for the intake and exhaust mods i have done. The sound is great and the performance is fantastic it isnt very expensive and the payoff is a great powerplant . :) safe riding friend.
you have to count the blinks of green light from the bar mounted switch . Its hard to see and easy to lose count, i'm pretty sure i'm at setting #5 . we'll see how it goes.🤠
I am happy with my 390, but the only issue I have with it when riding is when I am facing a head wind which we have all the time here in the desert. With the throttle pinned, I can get to 67-69 mph. So it sounds like this would not help me with more power riding into the wind. Am I wrong? Thanks in advance.
this will help you dramatically !!! The lean fueling of the stock ECU is the biggest problem " and the gearing if its stock" . If you change these it will make really good power. Climbing hills and pushing headwinds will no longer be an issue. Mine will easily run uphill in a headwind with luggage at 70 mph :) safe riding friend :)
i probably could but KTMworld.com has the bolt in stock so i ordered it last week :) and its not much $ I'm so busy in my daily life that if i can just order things and its not to expensive i just do that . :)
@@thebelligerentmechanic8916 unfortunately, all the fasteners on this bike, are poor quality. As you found out, they strip easy. I’m hoping that as I strip out more of the fasteners, I will be able to find high-quality replacement hardware.
I bought and been using fuel x i did not felt it worth. I think without fuelx lite bike was more better .i think they are making us fool .in the name of fuelx😂
