The bike all the manfs build but refuse to sell because they are too good for peasants. and thankfully china is finally making a good bike we can get a dakar spec for reasonable pricing. These 450 long range bikes would sell like hotcakes.... just saying.
KTM limiting the production availability of the 450RR is a good thing. The bikes go to people who can actually ride them. Otherwise, if they were mass produced, dentists who never leave the pavement would be the biggest buyer segment. The normal 450/500 can be built up to a level that would suit 99% of riders. Very few would max out the performance of that bike. Turning a 690/701 into a rally is another option, as part of them are close to the 450 RR. The Kove definitely doesn't have the performance of the 450RR.
@@jayd3931how is that a bad thing? KTM sells way more makes more money, has more to invest into the platform. Dentist takes the depreciation and lets the rest of us buy extremely capable bikes for more reasonable prices. Win win win
