I've driven a Defender 130 for a year in the UK - and no issues so far - fingers crossed from here on. Previous reliability issues seem to have been addressed, but perhaps I'm lucky. For me the Defender blows the socks off the competition. It seems like it's at least three generations on, in terms of comfort, durability and performance, than the Land Cruiser - which it's being compared to here. Defender wins hands down for me - no question.
Looks great Love the Sedona Red colour. If a 110 and 130 have a Tow Rating of 3.7 tonne in USA (P400) Why is the 110 rated at 3.5 tonne in Australia, and the 130 down to (only) 3 tonne ? 🤷🏻♂️
That comes down (I believe) to the extended rear overhang, and the additional forces that come into play with a trailer. The towball mass maximum is still 350kg, but heavy trailers can still produce a lot of force when moving around. - Sam
I have a 110 d300 hse and it has a dineline vibration at 95 km ph. Had it at dearlers many times. Not fixed and are not going to fix as they say it's operating to design intent. Do they expect me to drive a car that vibrates at cruising speed. Seriously don't buy one as there are a lot of problem with them.
Greatest car of all, the owners received a recall notice before receiving delivery notice😂😂😂. JLR is a complete joke and junkest of all junks. They need to pay me get another one after my 2019 RRS spent more than half of my ownership time in dealership until nearly two years later I had enough and effectively gave it away and caused a big dent in my wallet! Never buy that piece of shit again.
@@stephendummer4609 it is patchy, I heard someone has driven LR for 30 years, no issues, but also heard someone experienced worse than I did. That’s probably the reason why we call it reliability issue, just not a good quality control in place.
@@siquanwu3131so its all down to luck? No one model is better over another ? My neighbour had a Freelander and it was more in the workshop than in his driveway so I thought that model only was bad ?
