Remember when the Canadian wildfires engulfed the East Coast? I braved the smoke to film this video for you! This is a detailed review of the 2023 Lexus LX600 F-Sport, a redesigned vehicle made in Japan and based on the Toyota Land Cruiser.
It's got style but does it deliver as a full size luxury SUV? Depends on what you're looking for. Take a tour with me to see the detailed interior, exterior, and then take it on the road.

I like the perspective from a woman!!! I tried this at the Lexus dealer, 2 days ago. I'm 5 feet, and I could not raise the seat high enough to comfortably see over the large hood. As far as the room, it's great if you want a comfortable 4 person vehicle. My local dealer wants $114.000 plus a $10,000.00 dollar market adjustment before taxes!!! I have the 2022 GX 460 which is, as far as I'm concerned, a 4 person vehicle. Can you cram a third person in the middle row, sure to go to the movies, shopping etc. The third row is useless ( my personal opinion) I haven't used it once. Needless to say, I will NOT be purchasing the LX, I did consider it but I would not gain what I'm looking for. Lastly the back unfortunately looks a lot like the back of the Dodge Durango I was following today.

Glad you found this helpful but I am totally offended that dealers are still adding "market adjustments" especially for a vehicle of that price. There are far more large and luxurious vehicles out there there.

@@Allthingsfadra As soon as they tell me there's a "market adjustment" ( or what I see as I'm going to try to rip you off tactic) I tell them straight to their face, I don't buy from any dealer that does that. They really don't know how to respond to it. Then I say good bye if it's on the phone or in the case of my local Lexus dealer I thanked the lady for letting me see the LX and I walked out. Plus you are right there are far more luxurious vehicles out there/. I don't dispute the quality specially the LX and the GX, but both are limited in size if what you want is a lot of space.

It is an overbuilt highly capable off-road yet comfortable on Road suv. The only thing close is a Land Rover in terms of on and off-road characteristics, but lacking the reliability of be made in Japan lexus. This will be on the road long after other similarly priced SUVs are in their respective Graves.

I finally tried this SUV. I am 5ft 11 in tall and when I sat in the driver seat my head touched the ceiling. The salesman was shocked too.

Is your torso 5 feet tall? I’m 5’11 as well, you can put the seat down. My head doesn’t touch the ceiling.

Interesting. We have an 11’ LX 570 & it’s 8 passenger. We’ve actually carry 8 adults on a regular basis. Both sides of 2nd row seats move back and forth with a touch of a button to give more third row legroom. This new one isn’t worth 100k+.

Great review. Not quite seeing what makes it worth $100k. Massage seats in the rear but not in the front seats is puzzling!

Those aren't massage seats in the rear. But they are heated and cooled seats - same as the front seats. As for what makes this worth $100k? I'm honestly still scratching my head too.

There’s a heft, thick “this could survive a war and keep going”, vibe, mixed with Lexus quality & service that keeps the LX legendary. It’s not the biggest, the smoothest, the most screens galore, but it is the only full size SUV that will keep on going while your $100k Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade/Wagoneer/Navigator are being towed with the latest issues. It’s not all just reliability either…but owning one of these is a special class of life, in a way. The waiting lists and well over sticker pricing to get one, validate this odd to some, unique experience. It’s not for everyone. But it’s a different level of unique…#ownerthoughts

You would probably never buy a Ferarri or a Rolex either, opting to buy a 911s and or an Omega (God forbid) to each, their own perspective. I appreciate yours.

Your american counterpart suvs are much more pricier for horrible quality and resale value. Lx is much smaller compared to gm full size suvs. Lx is a bargain. Remember lx is an after thought from lc300 so design is a little quirky rn. Wait for refresh and lexus will fix all these things

It’s all relative to your income. You make 50 a year. No it’s not worth it. Some people play at 15.00 tables some play at the 100.00 tables.

It’s a relative question. If I had $100k to spend on a vehicle, is this the one I’d buy? I think you can get more for your money with other vehicles in the same price range.
