Few points missed in the review - 1. Large sunroof that can open 2. Sony speakers- 12 of them 3. Turbo engine is standard 4. Adaptive cruise system 5. Auto braking against pedestrians Etc etc
@BabyDriveReviews
@BabyDriveReviews Год назад
You are correct! The sound system is excellent and the engine is more powerful than you get in most equivalent cars sold in Australia

I see a lot of people are saying that XUV 700 is less costly in Australia than in India, But actually in India XUV 700 costs approx. 27 Lakh Rupees (US$33,750) and in Australia XUV 700 costs approx. US$37,000. The reason behind this is: Mahindra manufactures all of its vehicle in India so when they export abroad they have to add import duties, transport cost, etc. due to which cost of cars increases. Great video BTW❤, it makes me feel happy when I see people from other countries liking and using Indian brands, I hope you all have amazing time with your Mahindras!

Finally someone has written actual prices with reason, just like Japanese Toyota Fortuner is expensive in India as compared to Japan similarly XUV 700 will be more expensive in 🇦🇺 than in 🇮🇳
@kohli413
@kohli413 Год назад
ITS AUD37000 not US$. US$37000 = 55500. and AX7 IS AUD40000 WHICH IS AROUND 22LAKH.
@kunalsethi5150
@kunalsethi5150 Год назад
@@kohli413 I think the reason is XUV sort of touches the luxury vehicle segmnent in india and taxed accordingly. While its probably the most affordable suv in australia and taxed lower. I might be wrong

Petrol 7 seater automatic in india cost around 26lacs and top cost more 28lacs. So yes it is cheaper by 8-12 thousand AUD.
@pessimistic_optimism
@pessimistic_optimism Год назад
could be because of taxes, the effective tax rate in india is 45%
@ayushsaxena419
@ayushsaxena419 Год назад
@@utkarshsrivastava2639 Ex showroom price for AX7L Petrol Automatic is Rs. 24 lac while in Australia same model is Rs. 22 lacs. Also, Mahindra offers 7 years warranty and RSA. Here in India it offers 3 years of warranty and RSA is sold separately.

Odd that a lot of people have said that, is it cheaper in AUD compared to the price in INR?

@@BabyDriveReviews Here in India, the top spec AX7L is 28.58Lakh rupees which is 52K AUD when converted. Also, it's the costliest car till date by an Indian manufacturer here in India.

@@BabyDriveReviewsIn India huge taxes are imposed on car more than 4 metres and with powerful engines.that's why it's more expensive in India.

You know there's a new (very disturbing) trend in India...people are shooting Insta Reels, or even some sleeping with their hands off the wheel leaving the XUV-700 on the ADAS (Advance Deiver Assistance) feature to drive the car on the highways 😂😂😢 No accidents reported so far of such instances but RIP to such people in advance. I just hope & pray there are no such stupid people in Australia who'd do that 😅 its too risky
@BabyDriveReviews
@BabyDriveReviews Год назад
That's very irresponsible

Taxes
@sudharshanve8519
@sudharshanve8519 8 месяцев назад
If the manufacturing cost in Pune is 15 lakh INR, (import costs and duty another 5 lakh), India taxes approx 50-60% of vehicle cost in taxes considering it is luxury category. I.e. 15+8= 23 lakh INR. Compare that with Australia where taxes are just 5%. Thus 20+ 5%5 lakh comes approx 21 Lakh INR. That's the difference between the two countries.

It is a good car, but it is made in India, and will not fulfil the demands of Australian dealers! They want you to buy something that is 3 times the price. Their business could not operate with this price structure. Good luck to Mahindra....they will need it in Australia!!!

Funny thing about the language English isnt. 😂😂😂. The word being cheap in India literally translates to stooping low as well. I doubt if people use it as phrase in Australian English. And obviously lot starts differening between American and British version isn't it?.
