the next Mercedes-AMG E63 will feature a new inline-six with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The new drivetrain combines Mercedes-Benz's M256 turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder with an electric motor providing greater power and a limited electric-only range.
As a former Mercedes fan, I have to say this car is nice but the 2 liter engine is a deal breaker for a lot of people who are considering to but it. Imagine the exhilarating THRILL it would offer with the V8 engine!
Its so sad the times we´re going into. I had the c63s and with stage 2 it was incredible. Driving through the street, people looking at you while the car was rawing and thinking it was a monster driving... the autobahn journeys with the big V8 rumbling wanting to push more.. This new c63s is very beautiful, but it is a c63s without its soul - the V8.
Wow If I won the Lottery, I'd buy it. Cars and videos like this make me want a Car. The interior and seats are superb. Good to see proper rear passenger seats . Just Mint !! I'm without one at moment.
I was part of the people who preferred the w204 to the w205, with time I preferred the 205. Certainly it's sad to see a 63s with a 4 cylinder but it's still a great car, very powerful and very beautiful
I recently rode in the 2024 C 63 S E Performance, and the new drivetrain's performance and torque are simply amazing. The AMG engineers nailed it, and the in-person sound is impressive. Despite saying goodbye to the bi-turbo V8, the new package maintains top-notch performance.
That sad background music on the 2nd half of the video - it's as if it's music bidding a sad farewell tribute to the V8. It'd be great if RoCars can make a previous gen C63 V8 video with that background music.
