I sat in one of these a 2019 one at the Mazda dealership while I was getting an oil change. It was red. I paired my phone up to the Bluetooth. Played Whitney Houston. Was a great experience. It had a wonderful sound system and it wasn’t even the premium option.
Happy to see front fog lights are back. Also glad they kept Euro-spec tail lights with the amber signals and rear fogs. Red signals and deletion of rear fogs (BMW & Audi) is visible cost cutting and makes the vehicle less elegant.
I was really enjoying this model until the "no arm rest" in the backseat. Really, Mercedes? Where are the backseat passengers supposed to put their drinks? I could see maybe water bottles in the doors' pockets. But what about drinks with lids?
Thank you I have a 2020 lease. I was thinking of getting something bigger but after seeing this I will renew my lease with this model. I was thinking about an Audi or the genesis.
nice review, in europe the base engine is a 1300cc with 130bhp. called the gla 180. if you think the gla 250 is a bit sluggish, brabus has a plug and play chip for some more pony s
Mercedes think they slick. Their cheapest car, but all the techs and perks you actually want in a vehicle is sold separately, hint making this an expensive vehicle at the end.
I just bought one and have owned several (larger) Mercedeses in the past. Mercedes will gladly take all the money you're willing to give them, of course, but you can get a good version of this car for just over $40K. It starts at $38,495 with the $995 destination charge. All it really needs is the $1850 premium package for the nice integrated digital instrument panel and infotainment screen and a couple of other things. Many will add 4MATIC and heated seats, so it's pretty well equipped for $43K.
@@georgejungle138 Ambient lighting is part of a relatively standard package (I have it and wasn't even that interested in it, though I do like it now). Yeah, I went without a sun roof. Those who want one always have the option to, as you note, pay extra $$$.
Hey bros, I'm considering a Mercedes 250 or GLA. I'm leaning towards the 250 because no body roll on bends. And I miss a sedan. I'd like your opinion on most quiet ride of the two. And comfort, was one more ergonomically pleasing? SUV vs Coupe Many thanks, TerryMorris
My kinetic seats keep me quite comfy!!! I finally received my 2023 GLA a month ago. My hubby is 6'4" and he is VERY comfortable driving and as a passenger. He HATED my 2018 GLA. 🤣
Nope. Just bought one of these. Full coverage insurance at AAA for 15,000 estimated miles of driving per year in a garaged middle class safe neighborhood with drivers with good driving records it was the same 1 year premium as my Ford Fusion which I replaced with the GLA.
For starters, $800 is a suspiciously high amount for a car that you can get for less than $60k. Other issue, is so many factors go into insurance premiums you can't really give a baseline or standard figure, only a vague ball park. Driver age, driving record, area, etc. are all influential factors
just got mine I love it. im just confused on the steering wheel those two buttons on it it has a plus and minus.. what is it for? also you forgot it self parks! im scared to try it lol what do you think? I have the amg package its nice
One questions Why does the GLA 250 when slow on the highway,‘traffic it tends want to move - like it wants to go!! Freaks me out sometimes. Overall the car is beautiful
I have one. I didn't pick it, my SO did. Build quality is crap. Cheap plastic everywhere. My Ford Fusion Titanium had way better build quality. Sadly it was totalled by a distracted driver. You really are just paying for the Mercedes badge.
Its hard to tell but i am considering getting this. Will a dog that is somewhat bigger fit in the trunk (big boy Labrador)? I would say yes but is there anyone with actual experience?
I checked the internet site of the Mercedes dealer closest to me and GLA MSRP's are $43,500. Please advise where I can get a GLA for $37,500 (the price listed in the headline of your video).
I just bought one. To get a $38,495 one (not $37K....there's a $995 destination charge, and BTW it seems everyone is getting at least MSRP), you'd have to special order a purely base one. That's because dealers won't stock them. The reason is that the standard instrument panel (the speedometer, etc) and infotainment screen are so basic that dealers think no one would buy one (I wouldn't, actually). Upgrading that requires the premium package. That brings it up to about a $40,200 starting point. That is plenty luxurious enough IMO. 4MATIC will cost more, as will heated seats.
