I figured the Maxima was not long for this world, over the years Nissan has steadily increased the size and capability of the Altima. It didn't make sense for anyone to buy the Maxima in the last few years. The drone of the 4banger is way too much for me to handle, but I'm digging the styling. Nice review!
I have an altima 2022 vc-turbo and my brother has a 2016 maxima, both SR trim. Whenever I drive his maxima I feel like im driving an upgraded version of my car even though his car is 6 years older. The maxima has probably the best v6 cvt transmission out of any car. It is extremely snappy and you can really feel the power of the car. The maxima however, like you said, in the year 2023 is only beating the altima in the LED lighting department and arguably the V6 engine vs the VcTurbo, and the looks. Thats not worth the money for most and they settle for the altima (like me) The maxima had potential, maybe all wheel drive, maybe a bit of a stronger engine to compete with the stinger. Its sad to see it go, my dad had a 2008 when I was a kid and I told him I wanted a maxima like his 😢
I hope they make the Altima better for a next generation and I hope the Altima will be more dynamic and more horsepower and I hope they get rid of cvt.
Can't wait to get one.. great looking car absolutely unbeaten value for the money almost hybrid like MPG . Keep on loving the gear shift. I will always love it that way I hate the pushing the botton ones or the turn to shift gear ones
Anthony, do the side view mirrors fold inward?? That's important to me, because I don't have a driveway and I have to park on the street, curbside. Thanks for your help.
anyone know why they killed off fog lights for 2023 Altimas and Versas? just got a 2023 Versa SR, and it didn't come with fog lights for some reason, just like the new Altimas. but weird thing is, the 2022 models DID have fog lights. and also, Mexico and Canada versions of the Versa do get fog lights, for 2023! doesn't make any sense
@@HawkeyeRides ya shame! i think tomorrow i'm gonna see about getting a set through parts for my Versa SR. if they have em in Canada and Mexico, sure i can order them ☮
Awesome review. Anthony is sexy as usual! I agree, the seat sits too high & im only 5’10. The Accord seats I had previously sat nice & low. They need to upgrade the interior lighting & rear like others to led. Why no fog lights? A driver side pocket would be nice. More windows need auto up/down. Too much glossy black in center smh. Love the power & gunmetal wheels. Keep up the great work Anthony!
The Sonata N-line dose 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and is taking out 392 chargers in a roll race....the Altima will never do that. The cvt kills the fun. The Nline give you way more for less money
@Hawkeye Rides Tru I think the msrp now is around 36,900 for the Nline. I test drove the Altima sr vc turbo and I wasn't impressed. And the sales man was trying to hype up the car on the drive...I felt like I was driving a rental car. In my opinion the Sonata N-line is the best midsize sedan for the money.
