I take a look back at 2023. Is it the year that changed everything? ... quite possibly. This is a year in review video but with a twist, as i give you some background info on all things renovation series and we take a look into my plans for the channel moving into 2024. Happy New Year and a big thank you to everyone who has watched the channel this year!

Hey mate, happy new year. I've been following along the renovation since the start, I do love a good start to finish renovation. As far as collaboration goes, Stuart at Proper DIY is a good watch. I reckon you two have similar styles. His content is more everyday DIY but I'm sure you could find some common ground between that and big renovation.

Really enjoying the renovation series. Would be really interesting to see a video on what you've uncovered (literally and figuratively) from a 1970s house - that is different to either the building techniques that are used / allowable now or existed before (as in my experience the late 60s / early 70s builds have some very 'interesting' mixes of brickwork, wiring, plumbing etc.). In terms of collaborations, maybe the Gosforth Handyman? HNY

Quality videos as always I have learning difficulties but the way you explain things helps me understand I currently go to night school to learn plumbing an trying to soak it in but it’s hard just need the confidence and experience on the job. Also your tattoo on your left arm is sickkk !! Do a video on them is it a Japanese style one ? As a big DIY fan, I've been following several DIY channels including Rag'n'Bone Brown and Proper DIY, both these guys live in Norfolk I believe, Rag'n'Bone Brown lives around Norwich I'm sure, another fantastic source of good skills is Robin Clevett, the guy is a genius. Keep up with the great videos, BTW your house looks like it's in the Cringleford area, not too far from where I am.

Great content! What about a video on how to hide heating copper pipes in the walls or under the floor? Old houses have ugly copper pipes boxing that runs along the walls. Is there a nice and easy way to get rid of those?

Any help on my garage roof has had it !!, I can’t afford someone to do it for me . The Whole roof has to be replaced! Dips, etc looks like swimming pool ,. Next doors is allways clear !! Some advice on how to approach it . Many thanks, ( The radiators vid was the best one for me, put a couple of new rads in perfect!)
