I do it in the morning as part of my morning routine with coffee and time to reflect and think:) Yes the gardener sprayed some “plant food” recently. They also filled the spaces in between with new grass. They used cow manure instead of the black soil. I’m not sure if we can still add black soil at this stage. Can’t wait to see the beautiful lawn:)

Preparation in terms of housing and consistent cash flow. Once you figure out these two things you can live your best life here because you can go organic with less compared to the west. Moving to Ghana is a big decision and it comes with proper planning. You need a stable income to survive. Get a farmland and start farming too 🥰🙏

Yes we planted some royal palms outside even before we moved to Ghana, but they didn’t survive as people used the space as path:) They were seedlings, but this time around we plans to plant bigger ones. We planned to use the excess water from the borehole for a small pool, but the cost was way higher than we budgeted for so we decided for a pavilion instead and get an inflatable pool for the kids to cool down:) Also we have family members with little kids and they were not comfortable with the pool idea which I clearly understand.
