Ghana is the center of the world. As a Ghanaian, I truly love to see my African American and Caribbean cousins coming back home to live and be free. I have been living in America for over 20yrs and I have seen their pains and struggles to make America equal but they don’t get the respect and dignity they deserve so pls come home to Ghana, learn the system, it’s not perfect but you have dignity as a human being living amongst your own people.
@True Yarn As Ghanaians we should all encourage our government to advance the process of repatriation for the millions of Africans removed from the motherland through violent means . it’s a just cause .
I think everyone should visit the motherland just to experience how diverse the culture truly is over here. I’m currently documenting my stay in Ghana as a young African American right now and I can say this experience has been mind blowing. If you can take a trip over here you won’t regret it.
Great stuff. As a Ghanaian, it fills me with joy to see our African American sisters and brothers return home and succeed. Akwaba to the beautiful couple. May the most high bless you and guide your steps.
@African Mindset I love your thinking , that is what it takes , and if Ghana does it right , soon Ghana will be abundant with men and women with the right skills and training that will help to unleash the economy. Most of our brothers and sisters coming now are spending their own money to get started !
The success of Africa is something that must be owned by all her sons and daughters. I am from Democratic Republic of Congo and it fills me with joy to see Ghana leading the way in welcoming our children back home.
Wa Jiimi papa, wu nim yansa, Kwashia Jibo, On what planet are they your cousins. What pains are they enduring. Black people have stood shoulder to shoulder as volunteer foot soldiers of the American military machine since 1865, to invade and kill other black, brown people and Africans. Half of the soldier at the 120 US military bases across Africa, there is one in Ghana are half full of black people keeping us under military occupation and you talk of them as your brothers and sisters, they are Americans and don't give a s##t about you, go and knock on their door and see if they would welcome you as you claim to be brothers and sisters, you are a fool that deserves to be colonised. Functional illiterates like you are advocating to let black settler colonisers into the country. You don't know your history and probably can't read or would not read, so you speak from your stomach. I am sure you would not claim Ivorians, Burkinabes, Nigerians or Angolans to come to Ghana because they are your cousins. You have drank the virue signalling Koolaid, zero brains and consciousness. You are welcome to send them to your family tribal lands and share with them if they are your cousins. You have an internalised inferiority complex and a colonial mentality.
These are very enterprising people. They have three businesses in Ghana: building inspection, tilapia farm and real estate. No matter where this lovely couple may find themselves or take themselves, they will always land on their feet and thrive.
Just bought two plots of land in Accra and now we’re building on it. This is absolutely something I want to do on my property. I knew about this for awhile and now is the opportunity
Ultimately that is why we built our compund, first as a personal refuge and 2nd as an example to show other like minded people how to do it too! Please ler us know if you need any help with the building or phase inspection of the building process to setting your compund off grid and with aquaponics.
I have a friend here in NYC who just bought land in Accra and is planning to live in Ghana. I was in Ghana last year and the freedom you feel being there cannot be understated.
I love to watch your program. It's amazing to see our fellow blacks all over the world Ghana. I am a Ghanaian Canadian living in Ghana now to doing Tilapia and Catfish farming.
Ghanaians really really really looooove tilapia and it’s a good thing you guys are doing tilapia farm you guys will make lots and lots of money out of it. So my advice is don’t quit and it will pay off soon. Tilapia business is very good in Ghana trust me
I watched til the end and i'm glad i did because brotherman dropped some real knowledge in the end about being totally self-sustainable. Its something that i've thought about ever since Katrina when I watched on TV all of those helpless black people corralled into a stadium waiting for the government to bring them food. I've been thinking differently since then. If you can grown your own food and be totally reliant on self you are way ahead of so so so many of us. I hear people boasting about first world country man the line is so thin that many don't see it. All it takes is mother nature getting angry and unleashing another Katrina on us.
Katrina was my first eye opener where I saw first hand that the government couldn't/wouldn't be there in times of need. I remember getting a group of friends and going to the Dallas reunion arena to help the evacuees. It took the community to pull them out. That was the day I decided to be a prepper.
It’s great to see our siblings relocating and settling in africa their root we should all remember we are Africans and Africa is our land none of us whether you’re an Afro Carribean African American or African should feel more or less African than the other we all have same stake on the continent of Africa..😊 wishing all the diasporas who are moving to the motherland all the best.
So much said by this couple but the part where she said they had to be DELIBERATE about the move is my highlight. I could picture you PLANNING religiously, leaving no stone unturned, doing your due diligence etc before setting out on this journey. It's incredibly great, congratulations!
Man I know them she was my realtor and I worked with him repairing ac problems he found on home inspections. To amazing people I pray God favor and grace over you all and your family!!
25:26 - 26:39 I wanted to hear some more truths that the brother was talking about cause I agree, even a little bit before that when the sister said anit no turning back cause she anit tryna turn into a pillar of salt. I know they got to be believers. Very inspiring and beautiful land they got
The Lebanese people, Chinese and indians some came with almost nothing in their pockets but they are millionaires here now, I don't know how they do it but I guess they had a plan and they worked very hard to make it come through. Those people say there's gold even in our gutters but we just can't see it
It's true their is millions in the gutter... literally there's even a company using that rubbish to build blocks. What attracted us to Ghana was the idea that its wet paint; ready for the Diaspora to return and make a mark.
As an Afro American I know in 2020 many afro Americans were trying to unite w Africans for their resources to eliminate the foreign middle men. Ur beads, ur stones, ur butters….. all simply Bc they come from africa and afro americans were promoting africa before it became the trend online
It is about time to correct that narrative. They talk about coming with nothing but it is not true. Take the Chinese for instance, once they identify an area of interest, their government actually gives them money to go pursue and invest. It is actually a Chinese govt policy to "push" their citizens out to go to abroad but to Africa in particular
Partnerships/corporation... And trust me they have access to capital....or should I say the have a solid way of raising funds amongst their own circles.
Informative video ,future for off grid sustainable living looking promising.Ghana being situated in the tropics means food can be grown throughout the year when the basic know-how and infrastructure is on the ground . In a few years , their property will become the knowledge tank for others to follow . Thanks for sharing 😍
That's an awesome idea we've actually entertained. We've considered doing aquaponics and small farm training. Our neighbour is a chicken/turkey farmer; we've spoken to him about partnering to offer workshops
Here I was trying to figure out how to homestead somewhere here in the state of Arizona but now you guys are taking me to a whole other continent. There's another RU-vidr called life with the Kings k i i n g s and they were inspiring me as well but you guys I like the level where you're at. Did you say northeast Ghana I will have to rewind this video to hear your exact location. How much was the land and how many acres did you purchase? Not trying to be in your business is trying to see what's feasible for me and my family of six. Thank you for the inspiration. Much love, Felicia
Thank you for sharing, now this is how you move to another country by starting your own business. This is BEAUTIFUL, MANY MORE BLESSINGS & PROSPERITY TO ALL OF YOU
Great seeing brother Tim with this family. Relocating is a big challenge,it takes courage to push on when things get tough, but this family pushed on and are on their way forward to prosperity.
Just now discovering your content here as I also prepare to make the shift. I saw another video you posted long ago that suggested we bring whatever comfort items we would want. Looking forward to joining you guys.
Love it! Tim is such a jokester, lol! He reminds me of my brother. I am so inspired! I pray daily that God will make a way for me to move to the Mother Land! I was held back when I had a stroke. God is Awesome! I have learned to grow. I'm 54 and still not giving up! Keep me in prayer 🙏🏽. I just moved to Houston a few months ago. From NYC to Charlotte NC to Houston. I'm getting ready for The Mother Land! Love and appreciate you. Keep educating folks!
Able bodied retirees should consider owning land and homes in Ghana...Teacher and government retirees can live comfortably with only 1200 USD per month with and after construction of self compound.
I'm so envious of you guys been over there in mother's land enjoy it up there my beautiful people .would love to do the same thing but old age caught up with me blessings to you couple 💑 and enjoy our 🌍 our mother continent
I planned to retire in Egypt. Had great multiple week visit UP& Down the Nile. Then the Brotherhood took over. Didn't want to learn yet another language, and chose Ghana after visits with Embassy, NGO based older daughter. Wasn't going to wait for full retirement cause Trump and Covid gripped US. Helped youngest daughter Cameron liquidate her stuff and made plans for my home and youngest child. Great That I could build a home with 3 yrs tax refund. I am a plant whisperer. My grandad and his siblings taught value of land and its fruits. It helps that I enjoy solace. As for Ghana life for eccentric expats Luke me? Come on down!
My husband & I plan to retire in Africa - likely Tanzania, but we're going to visit more countries before making a final decision. We're going to prepare by researching as much as possible, visiting several times and building a community beforehand. Once we transition, the goal is (as my sister so eloquently stated) to not look back. 🖤
Hi brother great content...thank you for showing the world and our black people who were taken from Africa 🌍. I'm from South Africa and if uou looking to invest come to the most developed country in Africa 🌍 which is South Africa 🇿🇦...so much land...farm crops will thrive here as the weather is suitable for alot of fruits/vegetables. If you not into farming there is so much real estate from beach mansions..skyscrappers penthouses...farm ranches....city life to mountain terrain. We have it all top 2 places to live in S.A 🇿🇦 is Durban which is a beach city party/luxury life..Johannesburg which is city life/money chasing...Cape Town relaxing vibes.
Why are their not questions of cost? How much for the land? How to purchase the land? The traveling cost from America? I have property would love to relocate.
So glad that I got to see this episode… they mentioned guns, there was a mass shooting just two days ago killing children and some adults 😢our NAACP is calling for a ban against AA traveling to some of our southern states 😢 so sad that this is happening in 2023 right here in America. I hope to visit Ghana someday soon and make a decision about where to live in my senior years. Happy to see this family is thriving ❤
How difficult is it to transfer current physical assets into Ghana? Are you allowed to ship your weapons from America to Ghana? Are you allowed to ship your industrial machinery from America to Ghana? Are you allowed to ship your custom work vehicles from America to Ghana? What type of personal vehicles are available to purchase in Ghana?
You can ship other stuff but kindly leave the weapons in America. Let us not turn this continent into another America. All you need is available in Ghana. Any car of your choice is available.

We only cleared the area where we built our homes to maintain the area which can attract creatures of all sorts. There was another large area of land not shown were we built a chicken coop have bananas, plantains, we are growing orange trees and coconut and have a raised bed garden.
I LOVE THE MOVES AFRICAN AMERICAN ARE GRADUALLY TAKING TO MOVE BACK TO THEIR ANCESTRY LANDS AFRICA IS WHERE THE TRULY BELONG SO THEY CAN FULLY REALISE THEIR HUMAN POTENTIAL AND TRUE LOVE
It’s great to see people moving here but more needs to be discussed on how a person can gain citizenship in Ghana. I know few countries if any who just allow people to just show up and start buying and building homes on vacant land. What’s the process to become an actual citizen or have the rights to buy land and build on it?
