I totallllly agree! I have a TON of the cloth and paper sticky notes and o can’t write on them! I agree with the icon and planner task stickers- I realized I do not need them at all. I thought it would help me to not write things out, but I was wrong.😂 And I purchased several pens on recommendation from RU-vidrs and then totally hated using them. I think the Zebra Sarasa is the worst for me. And of course I purchased several colors right off the bat.Everyone is different- I blame no one but myself.😂 I’m trying valiantly to use all these little stickers as random pops of color in my journal. So the entry might start with a mailbox or a trash can😂😂- but whatever. When it’s all gone- I will feel better and will have learned my lesson.
Now you’ve got me writing with it so I can remember fully 😂. It feels scratchy on the paper. It makes a sound when I’m writing with it- a creaky sound. Also- I can feel it moving ( the point and barrel that contains the ink). It’s just gross😂😂😂. I write with a uniball signo, my fountain pen, or a fineliner and it’s just smooth, silent writing with zero rattle. I also can’t stand the free hobonichi pen- and everyone loves those. Pretty much for the same reasons.
Exactly what you said is why I stopped getting CP sub boxes. As far as coffee monster co all of those type of stickers are way too juvenile for me, so I never get any of that stuff. I use very muted stickers just a highlight certain things that are going on my planner but all of these colors all that silver stuff from cloth and paper it’s just not cute anymore like I just want a nice functional planner you make a great point I’m not doing a swot analysis I’m planning, right so yeah I don’t. I don’t know what where these directions to some of these places are going, but good luck to them.
Hi there! New subscriber here. Loved your video - I understand all of what you say and agree with most of it, especially about the transparent sticky notes. If I want to use a fancy sticky note, I just print Sterling Ink freebies on some of my white sticky notes. For the most part, my all-white ones are absolutely fine. Love the tiny sticky notes from Muji, by the way! They’re perfect for smaller planners like the HoboWeeks. Regarding the uni-ball One pens, I simply don’t have the same experience as you. Mine work beautifully (except for the one I used to write on correction tape, which skipped until I had written off the residue of the correction tape - lesson learned, but that was on me: User error). Their ink flow is very consistent and they’re a pleasure to write with. I could imagine that the Cloth & Paper ones might have been from a bad batch, that they might have been stored somewhere unsuitable, or that they might have been stored for too long so that the refills inside started drying up. I’m not sure; I’ve never been interested in getting anything from Cloth & Paper because the minimalist neutral vibe just isn’t my thing.
That is so good to know. I did notice that once I bought a few uni one pens from my local stationary store they performed totally differently so obviously I no longer get pens from cloth and paper Thanks for your comment and for watching 🙏
Love this and subbed! I’m always torn about sticky notes, they’re pretty useful but they fly everywhere after a while so I end up not using them much and just looking at the designs 😂 sadly random stickers and highlighters are collecting dust in a corner.
I completely agree. What a relief. I thought it was just me. I've been so turned off by the planner community lately. These grown women are using and over spending on childish style stickers. I'd be so embarrassed for my kids doctors office or my friends to see a coffee monsters Co or happy scrappy anything in my planner. Plus they are just not productive. I like things to look nice. But I've accepted that the juvenile vibe of the planner community is not me. I am a adult with bills and responsibilities in the real world. I don't need a sticker to define me or tell the word who I am lol. It's gotten so stupid. These planners look like my 11 yr old uses them.😂
