I figured it was a crankcase breather but where is it? Normally they are on the valve covers. There is one hose that is connected to the air cleaner system but it goes under the oil filter. That seems too low for a breather. Again not sure why the owners manual doesn't cover some of this basic stuff. They want you to just take it into a dealer. I don't want anybody touching my machine.
I only have time and money to work on one project at a time. Not sure how long you have been watching my videos but I love the Polaris Rangers. I was able to buy a brand new one and I am customizing it just like I have done with every truck and Ranger I have gotten. I did the same thing when I bought my 2009 2500HD. I have a few more things planned for this Ranger then I will probably get back to the 80 Silverado project. If I got more views on the truck videos, I would probably go back to them faster but that isn't the case. With more and more used 1000 Rangers out there I think these videos will be good for my channel in the long run.
